5 star staff, the price was excellent and it was really easy to book excursions at the front desk. I stayed in the 4 bed mixed dorm along with two of my friends. The rooms were well kept and air conditioned. The location was a 5 minute walk from old town Chiang Mai. And night markets and various food options were readily available and within walking distance. I’d suggest booking your excursions though Emily, she was able to discount my trip to the elephant sanctuary which provided lunch and a full day of activities.

This hostel is very homey and comfortable. My husband and I stayed in the private room with a private bathroom. The room was spacious and the bed was comfortable. There was also a fridge and air conditioner. The hostel atmosphere itself is very welcoming because of Joe the owner. He is extremely nice and ensures your stay is comfortable. He can also book day tours for you and lets you know about group activities happening with the hostel guests. The laundry service is also very convenient and can be done in the same day if you request it early enough. The price and location is great, and the hostel was clean and everything worked fine. Joe and his family are what made this hostel really outstanding for us.

Great stay in Chiang Mai city. I have a pleasant stay here even for last minute booking. The owner was really friendly and helpful plus can speak english quite well. We even left our backpack after checkout before boarding to airport. The husky there was super cute and good boy as well.

A great place to stay. Everyone was so friendly and it feels like a home away from home. Joe is an excellent host and helped us with everything we needed help with. His recommendations were always spot on. Staying here made us enjoy Chiang Mai even more. The location is great too.

We were very lucky to have found this hostel. Joe and Ling are excellent hosts and extremely kind. They both speak English well and were very helpful in booking tours and giving advice about the city. The rooms were very clean and the AC worked great. The location is also very convenient. I would highly recommend Absolut House!

Amazing friendly staff, they have all the information that you need, you can book the tours around Chiang Mai in the hotel. Room price is very good for the area. Its location is very good, just 2 blocks to the Old City. Rooms are big, very clean and have all that you requiered. You need to share bathroom but always is very clean. I highly recommend this place

Incredibly friendly staff.
Both English and Chinese speaking guests are welcome here.
Price is reasonable (even comparing with other guest houses in Chiang Mai).
Room is big, nice and clean.
Definitely a good choice to stay!
