We stayed here as a family with a 6 yo and an infant and it was great. Our rooms were big, the shower was nice and the staff was really kind and helpfull. Many thanks to the manager Ken and the front desk, they are doing a good job.
The beach is a little harder to reach, but no worries, it is worth the (little) effort.
The restaurants nearby on the beach are a bonus as for the location.

A great resort/hotel if you are looking for quiet villa stay, despite being convenient and near Chaweng area.
The bedroom was nice and cozy, the large and comfy bed was the highlight in the room. Breakfast spread was good, fresh and tasty with mixture of local and western style cooking. Many thanks to Manager Ken was very attentive, friendly and helpful with any queries we had and kudos to all the staff who was equally customer orientated. Definitely will patronage this resort in near future.

I spent two nights at Briza. Beautiful and spacious room! Not the newest hotel in town, but you are paying accordingly, which is a great deal! The staff is very friendly and understanding. They took the time to ship back to Bangkok some electronic I forgot at check out. Thank you ^_^

I have stayed here often over the last decade. The hotel itself now is very dated but the location is great on Chaweng beach, the service is consistent and friendly and I have always felt very safe staying here.

The rooms are comfortable but in need of complete refits but the pricing is always very reasonable for what you get.

The whole hotel is old and not what it is in the pictures.
We traveled with a one-year-old and despite the hotel stating it "welcomes children of all ages", the hotel was not child-friendly.
The layout of the hotel means that there are five flights of stairs to the restaurant (not ideal with a pram). Our room was up 3 flights of stairs. There are stairs everywhere...not accommodating for travellers who have children under 2, with a pram.
The pools were green and not clean enough for an adult to swim in them, never mind a child. There was a large mechanical pump, trying to clean the pool. Far from safe with children. The pool bar was closed, and the beach bar was closed.
The room was dated and the bed was like lying on concrete. There is a console next to the bed that controls the aircon and our daughter was nearly electrocuted when she touched it and it fell onto the bed, exposing all the wires.
The beach access is either down a very steep metal staircase or down a concrete staircase with a 1m drop onto the sand.
How this can continue to trade as a 4* hotel is shocking. This hotel is 1* at best. I've stayed in cleaner hostels.
The breakfast was almost as bad as the pool.
Do not stay in this hotel if you have kids. We checked out after one night and the hotel is refusing to pay us a refund, despite them tricking us into paying for 11 nights.

The pool villa we stayed in was old and outdated. Pool was dirty and not clean. Breakfast was nothing special and the gym has bad equipment. Resort is very steep and will tire you out. The beach isnt great infront of this resort either. Definitely not a 4 star hotel.

The rooms were lovely, but the pool was totally unsuitable for swimming it was very dirty, and no filters or water features were running, im very easily pleased but this pool was BAD, and knew that we would either end up with a bad belly or ear infection if we decided to swim, the area that the briza is in, the beach isn’t good for swimming, we booked for 7 nights and stayed for 1, when we asked about a refund because we were unable to swim in the pool that was falsely advertised they wouldn’t refund us. Don’t stay here if you want a swim.
