The pool and bar was amazing but other than that the rest of the experience was not the best. We had ant crawling from our window, and the overall room had a weird smell. I also felt that the beds were a little dirty. However, I loved how the reception led into a beautiful area with ponds, but I just feel like the rooms had so many problems that it took away from the overall experience. If they fix these problems, the hotel would have been awesome.

Beautiful resort with professional service and great food! First I need to say that this review is mainly for food and for a few hours by the pool, we never stayed at the resort. I am an recident on Samui and we decided to come visit Novotel and spend a few hours by the pool and have some lunch. The resort is beautiful and well taken care of with an impressive walking path from the reception down to the pool. A big pool area with plenty of sunbeds and attentive staff making sure you have what you need. The pool also have an jacuzzi kind of area wish is nice. Beautifully located next to the beach this is an Ideal spot. The food was good! We tried the Caesar salad, pizza, pad krapow and on recommendations from the very professional Mr. Kao, the Thai Burger wish was amazing and must be highly recommended! Great service and we had an amazing time.

Great resort, good location, friendly staff. We stayed at the building across the road from the main building but was just as good. A short walk to the main building and beach. Hill side rooms also have a pool, bar and breakfast is also served there. You can choose where you want to have breakfast. Rooms were nice and big, huge bathroom, bed was a bit hard though. Free toiletries, a little balcony and serene atmosphere made this hotel a great place to stay at. They have a shuttle that goes the central festival mall, you have to find your own way back. It's a short walk back though, we found it easier to walk on the beach than on the street and you also skip walking up the steep hill. Food is great, try the pineapple fried rice, entertainment was good every night, from live singers to a fire show. Good variety at breakfast, don't miss the happy hour for drinks. The beach loungers tend to fill up quickly so grab a spot early if you plan on staying at the resort for the day.

Problems with sewer, air con, shower in rooms, inclusion of breakfast, quality of restaurant food. Empty breakfast buffets and artificial oj and poor coffee. Beach at the hotel not so nice (see picture) but much better a few 100m away. Many staff not friendly and welcoming. The property itself is very charming, rooms can have great views over the ocean, and one of the pools is very nice. We got great help from management to make the stay acceptable.

Highly recommended hotel.

We were here for 14 days with our 11 and 8 year old kids and had a great time. The staff is very helpful and always friendly. The location is great, with nice pool areas and straight on the beach when seeking sea water. There were always available sunbeds.

The included breakfast had a great variety of hot dishes, bread, juices, fruits and eggs in all different variants.

It's a 15 minute walk to Chaweng center, either along the beach or along the road. Taxis are also available just outside the hotel.

Big clean rooms in a wonderful location. The staff are very warm, friendly and helpful. Michael, the restaurant manager, and his staff were great. The breakfast buffet was excellent. The location, on the beach, and the pool area was outstanding. The most relaxing, easygoing and enchanting holiday we have experienced.

Service was great. Staff were very kind and warm and the resort is conveniently located near the center and the airport. The rooms did not offer any sea views and were a bit outdated and dark, but nothing unacceptable. Access to the beach was great and easy. Breakfast selection was an added plus. Would say geared towards families.
