Near to airport, good location and nice beautiful beach. We enjoyed staying here very much. All being kept clean and I see their staffs working hard, sanitizing all areas to ensure all guests can enjoy the stay safely. The free kayak is excellent, beach bar, swimming pool and nice cafe next to the beach. Highly recommended this place.

Great hotel right at the beach. Good value for money. Large and clean rooms with aircon. Great breakfast buffet incl. chef and a lot of options. Restaurant located right at thee beach. Stunning view and very friendly staff.

A very nice beatique Hotel. Extremely friendly staff and very good rooms. Perfect spot if you're wanting to relax by the pool with your book, cocktail and enjoy the views. Close enough to the main entertainment district but far enough not to be disturbed.

Hotel looks amazing online but you will soon find after checking in that it is extremely average. I stayed in one of the villas which was beautiful on the inside but the hotel itself is very “eh”.

Here are some of the things I found very average:

1) The beach at the resort is TINY….Like the water basically comes to the edge of the resort and there is very little sand to actually do beach activities or even lay out.
2) The location is awful….I read reviews saying there is little to do around the hotel but after getting there I realized that there is NOTHING to do around the hotel. All of the businesses surrounding the area are closed and run down (probably because of COVID but it still looks like it will take a few years for the area to come back to life).
3) The hotel bar/restaurant is pretty bad. It does the trick if you are hungry but the prices are high and the menu is small. The food itself is just “ok”.

All in all I enjoyed my time at the hotel but after deciding to stay in Samui longer, I moved hotels and went to Chaweng Cove Beach Resort which is half the price but twice as nice.

If you are thinking about staying at Chaba, I would wait a few years for them to get themselves back on track. You can find much nicer hotels in Samui that are much cheaper and in a much better location.

“Proceed with caution” is the best advice I can give when thinking about booking at Chaba.

Very nice hotel. The people kind and friendly.
Our room was big and clean.
Breakfast was good.
About 5 minutes with the motorbike to the city center

We stayed in mid may to late may place was recovering post pandemic. Had a great time staff at chaba made our time there pa at breakfast is a legend interacted daily with our family pen worked extremely hard serving us. The owner was very friendly as was his lovely family they even drove us into chaweng one night when it was pouring with rain. The team at chaba honored our deposit from two years ago which is a credit to them. The surrounding area is quite dead due to pandemic but it's not a far walk into chaweng and the quite suited us as a family rooms have been upgraded from our last stay too. We will always return here it's a great place to stay.
