Waking up and opening the curtains to see the sea - amazing!! Love that you go to sleep and wake up hearing the sea. The service was excellent here. The owner was lovely and greeted as as we arrived quite late into the evening and kept the restaurant open for us so we could have some food. The lodge was very quiet which is wonderful if you just want to relax by the sea and pool. A couple of restaurants within walking distance up the beach but most things require driving to. Taxis are more pricey on Samui than mainland Thailand. Loved the snapper for dinner and pangang curry. The beach is clean and lovely, they are more picturesque beaches on Samui like Chaweng but you won't have the beach/sea to yourself like Lipa Lodge.

Truly, this would be a GREAT resort but unfortunately it’s really run down. My fiancé and I looked at the reviews and they looked very convincing which is why we stayed here for 2 days before heading to Koh Pangang but the beach is not taken care of, the resort itself is not really taken care of (my fiancé and I walked down to a great restaurant called Chill Inn) and we collected about 10 plastic bottles each and careful, lots of glass on the beach. We stayed in 1 bungalow after a long ferry ride from another island (Phi Phi) and it was honestly not too bad. Beds are very comfy, very homey looking, cute small resort but again, lots of things need to be fixed. The doors don’t close all the way so you’ll have a crack in between your doors, no safes…, some bungalows (since we moved a lot) have cracks in the corners for little creatures to come in (we had some geckos come in our room) and for why we moved bungalows so many times (not necessarily for the gecko situations) but we had a bee hive beside our bungalow so that allowed the bees to enter through the small cracks to come into our bungalow.. once the manager switched us to another bungalow … right next door… I asked her if we could move somewhere AWAY from our original bungalow since it’s right next door, the bees might be near that bungalow as well.. so she moved us to another bungalow and the same problem, a huge bee hive with swarming bees just swarming basically the front door. So, we move AGAIN. She upgraded us to a bungalow near the front (which is fine since I think there’s only another couple staying at the resort with us so it’s not as busy), but the doors are sort of like barn doors and won’t shut properly so there’s a hole in the middle so praying we don’t get any bees, spiders, etc in our room.
Otherwise, the resort is ok. It really needs to be updated, cleaned up, then it truly would be a 10/10. It’s a great location, small but nice and quiet, the infinity pool is great (I swam in it once), the free breakfast is ok.. I recommend going to Chill Inn restaurant for lunch and dinner! Great food and great vibes!
I feel awful for writing this but if you want to feel safe, comfortable, and have a clean stay, I don’t recommend this place.

good hotel but dirty beach and not suitable for swimming. Staff was friendly and rooms were clean. The Beds were comfortable as well. Breakfast was a little bland.

One of our favourite very underrated places to stay on Koh Samui (we’ve tried all the 5 stars etc). The sunset from the beachfront villa on is unbeatable anywhere on the island. We searched for another location but kept coming back to our own room as nothing could compare. The beach is short but the cleanest and most peaceful we found. Room is incredibly clean and bathroom has rainforest shower. It’s a great option for unparalleled natural beauty and peace and quiet.

The staff at this resort are what makes it! They are phenomenal and really go the extra mile to ensure you are comfortable and have everything that you could need. The beachfront location was perfect with the pool in a nice central location overlooking the ocean and beach. The room sizes are large so space is no issue. We had a 1 bedroom unit which a private bedroom with a king size bed , Hotels beds were hard but found this to be common around most of Thailand. Both rooms had tvs, personal air conditioning units, refrigerators stocked with 2 bottles of water daily and a welcome fruit plate. This unit also which was convenient. The balcony with chairs and table were nice to sit on and relax. The resort is very peaceful and relaxing. There is not much happening at Lipa Noi itself, however there are a few restaurants a short walk away or the quaint little town of Nathon is only a 10 minute taxi ride away. Or Motorbike.
There are plenty of shops, restaurants and after 4pm a street food market opens up.
The resort is well maintained and food at the restaurant is pretty good. They also offer a continental self serve breakfast with the option to order things such as bacon, eggs and pancakes from the kitchen at no additional cost. Overall enjoyed my stay at this resort.

The service was extremely accommodating and friendly-just perfect level of attention.
The buildings and landscape and beach, were are extremely well maintained, maintained and manicured.
My steak was a great value for the quality and taste.
The rooms so spacious and comfortable. And the sand on the beach so soft all the way out(and we could always walk out quite far as tide is minimal and depth is shallow.

Stunning location which is about 30 years old. This means a beautiful grow. garden in which there are nicely renovated cottages with sea view. The beach is very nice with cristal clear water. Also the small infinity pool is nice. In total a very nice piece of landscape. At night you might here the bass from the party of the Nikki Beach club about 300 meters from the hotel. So be aware of that.

The cottages have good beds, modern air conditioning and are spotless clean. The bathrooms are fine as well but miss some water pressure when taking a shower. In sum, very very, very charming and comfortable. We love it.

The service staff is very friendly. Yet, the food is just OK and sometimes it could be more seasoned. A strange thing is that they always present you with two bills one for the food and one for the meals. They also add 7% taxes so that you have strange prices which are somewhat higher compared to restaurants close by. Also, there is nothing around so that you might want to eat at the hotel restaurant if you do not want to walk a while.

In general recommendable for 2 nights due to the stunning view on the sea from the terrasse of the cottages as well as the nice view from the restaurant.
