Disappointed Reheat Pork Ribs way too dry. Disgusting common toilets (common areas) Totally lost my appetite after that.

Been there last night 1 May 2022 around 6 pm. Pork ribs and potato salad what I ordered. The pork ribs and the sauce were way much too dry not juicy nor tender at all. You can see from the photo. No fragrance of BBQ at all it was reheat for some times that you can tell. To me it was terrible experience. As so many fastastic choices out there. But I just choose the wrong one.

No restroom. Staff asked me to use the shared toilet outside the restaurant, which are abandoned toilets so disgusting ever. That s so irresponsiveness staff in not giving me at least to expect how dirty those toilet are.

Very good, legit Mexican food. Some dishes like the burrito bowls are more American TexMex, and some are more authentic Mexican like the Tacos Al Pastor. As someone who has lived in both places, this is really good Mexican food. Portions are big which justify the price.

Who knew you could find such a great BBQ joint so far from America. The chicken was especially juicy and tender! Owner is also really friendly and has had such an interesting life.

Was craving some Western food after days of eating Thai. Ordered the half chicken and ribs. The presentation was great, the food was ok, not really a fan of smoked meat.

This place is amazing!
The the best ribs I ever had! The owner is a American that really knows what he is doing ????
He smokes the ribs for 7 hours than vacuum seals it for additional xx hours! It is perfect!

The smoked hickory chicken is just ???????????? smoked with hickory wood specially imported in from US to this small little island of Koh Tao. The food speaks for itself, how passionate the owner Jim in offering real Texas style BBQ. Keep it up a good work and I wish more people able to try Flaming Hog’s BBQ dish!

Never thought i would find an authentic American BBQ place in koh tao, but Flaming Hog BBQ really delivers! The owner Jim is fantastically accommodating and such a down to earth nice guy cooking up north Carolina bbq. He imports hickory wood to smoke his ribs for 7 hours. However the buffalo wings with sauce stole the show. Such tender juicy goodness. Sides of corn on the cob and potato salad were great. Coleslaw a little bit too creamy for me as i prefer less cream more pepper/vinegar taste. Overall delicious feast for an amazing value. Can also deliver to your door.
