I didn’t check the reviews before renting a motorbike as this place was recommended by the hotel. The bike was in great condition- in fact it was really new, the red plates mean that the owners still paying it off. The mechanics of the bike (I’m experienced here), brakes, indicators, lights, wheel alignment and engine were all in great working order and could comfortably go up and down the steepest of Koh Taos mountains. I was quoted 200B/day, passport or 2000B deposit but left my international drivers permit instead, which was a relief.
I hope the owner has turned a new leaf as my experience was quite good, though upon returning the bike (no accidents, so wasn’t a problem for me), he said that there was a 24h rental rather than a per day so even though I paid for 2 days, because it was after 11.15am when I first collected the bike, I was asked for a further 200B. It didn’t seem right as I don’t remember that stipulation and even said the approximate time I’d drop it back but I didn’t question it. But overall, it was a positive experience. Beware of this place! We wanted to book tickets from Koh Tao to Khao Sok. One evening we just informed, he said the price is 900 and because the ferry raised their prices it’s 100 more for each person. We came back the next day, another employee was there. He didn’t know anything about the raise of price from the ferry anymore. We booked then the night ferry, he showed us pictures of an AC Ship with bunk beds, and promised it would be a big boat. When we arrived at the pier, it appeared to be a very small boat where you lay like fishes in a can, at least 30 years old, very small, no AC and moving in the waves as hell.
We paid another 600 for the boat next to it, that had bunk beds and AC, that was promised to us.
Never ever go there and hook anything. Scam

DO NOT RENT HERE! This guy rented us a bike that had bald tires which resulted in us slipping on the gravel. The owner then tried to charge us 18000 THB for some small scratches. We were able to talk him down to 10000THB but there is nothing that needs to be replaced. He was rude and his colleague was laughing throughout the transaction. This was the first horrible experience we have had with renting scooters in the month we have been here.

Booked a taxi + ferry combo with them. First of all they tried to way overcharge us for the taxi (600 baht for 2 people one way to the pier) which we got down to 500 (still way overpriced). The taxi never showed up in the morning and it was before they opened so we had to book another taxi with a company next door even though we already paid. Very irritating and a waste of money. I suggest booking a taxi elsewhere if you are going to buy one of their ferry tickets, or just go somewhere else with honest prices.

Do not go here or at least be very careful here, was charged $600 USD for a tiny scratch and passport held ransom. Make sure to take lots of photos or you will get screwed over. They take their own photos but won’t show you if you ask for them. Be warned

Payed 300 USD for minor scratches! And the've stolen a helmet from us (forgot from other bike in a seat). Avoid at any cost these mobsters

Do not rent any motorcycle here the owner is very rude and impertinent.
