We had the front room looking into the ocean and restaurant. This maybe not private enough for some but we loved it.

A nice tabby cat came to visit us for the four nights we stayed and we became close friends.

The room itself is very straight and simple. No frills. But good enough for a non-complicated beachside holiday.

The manager was very sweet. And helpful. As you can see in the photos, she wrote to us explaining the check out.

We chose this condo to Celebrate Songkran 2022 because it was right on the beach. Little did we know, that the venue next door called Sanctuary, had an all night rave party going on with super loud music.

Kim, the kindly manager, organised another room for us a long way from the noise and we sleep peacefully.

So thank you Kim. And thank you for all the staff at the adjoining “fat turtle” restaurant.

And the amazing fire show every Wednesday night.

We really enjoyed our stay and recommend Thai House for a relaxed laid-back and not expensive accommodation.

PS The Google map will take you to the property next door. So all you need to do is get off at the 7-11 and walk down the right hand side alleyway. Or you can drive down to the car park.

It's been a while since our visit but we dream of being back here every day!
Highly recommend, location is perfection itself. Super friendly staff and the owner (Kim) is so lovely. Rooms are fab.
The fat turtle do amazing cocktails!

These are the cutest little homes! We are staying in a three bed bungalow, complete with a bathroom, fridge, and TV. The air-con is great and there are soft blankets on the bed! Its perfect that were near a 7-11 and a pharmacy. This hidden gem is connected to the Fat Turtle restaurant, which is helpful. Although this place doesn’t have breakfast, its worth the stay! The rooms dont have the best wifi and the theres barely any shower pressure, I think its great! ???????? (Also it was new years recently and there was a lovely fireworks show right outside the Fat Turtle.)

Fantastic beach resort right on the beach! Brilliant location with everything within walking distance, Money exchange, bars/restaurants etc. Wonderful staff who can’t do enough to make your stay perfect ???? Kim is lovely and the girls on reception, Aom u0026 Nee will book any trips, tickets or shuttles or anything you need! The rooms are lovely, again everything you need.
A 20 second walk to the beautiful beach and their beach front restaurant/bar The Fat Turtle which has a great varied menu as well as good priced drinks, oh and great coffee! See you next year u0026 thank you ????

Wow! So, true to the name, Thai House features genuine Lanna homes brought down from Chiangmai province. Waking up here is bright and cheery, and falling asleep is quiet and peaceful. I could always hear the waves from my bungalow.

I wish I took better pictures! These are actually screenshots from a video I took to show off how pretty my new little house was.

If you’re here now, during COVID times, all the rooms currently have great, ultra reasonable rates. There are also non-Lanna bungalows on the resort, but the Thai Houses are absolutely worth it.

Also, I can’t even begin to talk about how kind and helpful everyone working on the resort is. I loved my stay here.

We had an amazing 3-night stay at the Thai House Beach Resort in Oct 2019. The rooms are very clean and well maintained. The location is stunning beside an unspoiled idyllic beach. The food and drinks at The Fat Turtle are excellent. Special thanks to Ni and Aom for looking after us. We will definitely be coming back!
