The work they are doing are essential and amazing to the surrounding area. If you're in Koh Lanta, you have to visit and see all the lovely cats and dogs. 200baht per person and they currently only run 1 tour a day at 10:45 due to covid.

Worth a visit to support these animals! 200 Baht donation for the daily tour. They also have a gift shop where your money goes straight to the care of the animals. They really care for them. Many of them were abandoned, surrendered or found hurt by motor accidents or people (disgusting humans!!) They try their best to educate the public that animals need love and are not "dirty" which is what many people believe. They perform surgeries, neutering and spaying, give all the animals the shots they need. They are the reason why there are so many happy u0026 healthy animals on Ko Lanta. They also need volunteers. Since Covid they don’t have as many so if you can spare the time, please reach out to help volunteer during your stay here! They are doing hard work and need all the support! ♥️♥️????????????????

Great experience with truly passionate people who love to take care of animals and improve animal welfare around the Koh Lanta island and nearby locations as well. They take really good care including medical and psychological help for animals and give chance to take tour of the facilities so you can see first-hand how it all looks like back stage. Juni had so much courage to take steps that created Lanta Animal Welfare and took it to where it is now which is just amazing place carrying help and goodness. You can visit and see for yourself and maybe come back with another member of family

A MUST for animal lovers!

I went there for a visit this morning and ended up doing the tour with Steven. (every day at 10:45)
He showed us all around; where the animals stay, the kitchen where their food is prepared and the clinic.
The sanctuary is very organised, clean and the cats and dogs have a lot of space.
Thanks for putting effort in taking care of these (now happy) animals and to make the World a better place!
Adopt or support with a donation if you can :)

I'll come definetly back!!!!

An amazing morning at this amazing place. It is such a clean and well thought-out establishment, with staff u0026 volunteers that clearly care so deeply for the animals. The animals look so well u0026 I couldn’t believe how the whole place smelled so good with that amount of animals in it! Stephen, our tour guide was really informative and passionate u0026 we even had some hands on time with Elmo u0026 Brandy - two gorgeous dogs. It is so well organised u0026 it was lovely seeing the feeding, meds u0026 walking lists for each individual animal - such personalised care.
We wish we could have donated more but it’s impossible on a backpackers budget! But when we are home we will consider either sponsorship or adopting our own Lanta kitty.

Most wonderful animal sanctuary, so much space for every animal and all of them are taken care of with a lot of love by all the employees and volunteers. It is great to see all the effort that is put into helping all the street dogs and cats on the island. Another great thing: they help everybody who brings a hurt animal there without charging money if the people don't have any. They rely exclusively on sponsors and donations. If you have the chance, please go and visit the tour through the clinic (10:45 am) and donate a bit of money, they absolutely deserve it.

I am a big animal lover, and when I realised I was staying near a welfare centre during a trip to Thailand was initially a little sceptical that I could be walking into a tourist trap with awful conditions for the animals… I was so wrong! This place is nothing short of incredible. The work they do on koh lanta and the whole of Thailand for poorly animals u0026 to educate the community is amazing, the animals are so well cared for, it is a little emotional seeing some of the more poorly dogs u0026 cats but knowing they are in great hands and being taken care of is so heart warming. If it wasn’t for the fact we rent and can’t have a dog I would of taken about 3 home with me! Please support this place and help them to continue the amazing work they do .
