Wow! A true gem at a great price for what you are getting.
Fine dining at a price that is about double that of many of the boring beach-side restaurants in this area, but a tiny fraction of what you would pay for this quality of food in any city around the world.
We had to seared tuna, duck, pork belly, and ribs. All were fantastic, particularly the tuna and pork belly (see photos). We also had 7 sides, from pea shoots with asparagus, to gnocchi, dirty rice, Myanmar cabbage salad, etc. All were great except that I didn't care for the carrot/mushroom dish which was a bit too "earthy".
Presentation was beautiful and staff were very pleasant and attentive.
It was our priciest meal on Koh Lantah, but fine dining for 4 people including drinks (non-alcoholic) for $70 with food left over seems outstanding to me
Note: You order sauces and sides separately, so be aware it isn't as cheap as you might think if you glance at an online menu. Also, depending on when you go, you might actually need a reservation.
