Near the entrance of the Hotel Swissotel in Kamala Beach, you'll find an amazing culinary experience known as Sam's Indian Restaurant. After being warmly greeted and seated by Ram, the chef and brother of the restaurant's namesake, we ordered ice cold beers. He explained to us that not only was it his mission to cook a great meal for us, it meant much more to him. He wanted us to feel like family. Soon, our table was full of wonderfully aromatic and delicious butter chicken, vegetable jalfrezi, prawn masala, basmati rice, garlic naan, and chicken pakoras. At no time did we feel rushed, and we were invited to sit as long as we liked. If you are staying in the area, or perhaps just visiting and looking for an incredible meal in Kamala Beach, stop by and check out Sam's Indian Restaurant. I am pretty sure you order just any thing and you will say WOW that is the taste.
The chef is just amazing, he knows how to make a person happy with his food.
They serve almost all indian Dishes and i was 100% satisfied with each and every dish I have had tbh.

Had a really nice authentic Indian meal here. Sampled several dishes and all were delicious. Service is not super speedy but I think that was because the dishes were cooked fresh to order. Food seemed really good value and we were all full when we left. Owner was very friendly and the beers were ice cold. Don't be put off by the facade, we were really glad we ate here.

We visited twice that small and cosy restaurant in a quiet street of Kamala during our week holiday. The reason: excellent fresh food, friendly team, non-touristy location. I ate the best Chicken Korma I have ever got. Although the portion was big enough (with a lot of tasty Naan Bread of course), the chef Sam suggested us to taste Indian special dessert, I think it was Gulab Jamun. And this was very yummy indeed. Great experience! We had even time to speak with chef. Many thanks and greetings!

We had great dinner at Sam’s Indian restaurant. We ate Chicken Tikka Masala, Mutter Paneer, Aloo Gobi, Nan, and rice pudding for desert (one on the house). The team is very friendly, and passionate about their food and ingredients. Wishing them all the best in these difficult times, and will visit again next time we come.

Hands down the best Indian food I've tasted during my travels in Thailand. Worth the trip if it's out of your way. Highly recommend it ????

I brought my guests here for a food experience and Sam lived up to the hype! Family vibe with tasteful food and reasonable prices. I would highly recommend for when you need food while in Kamala.
