This place has been opened since 1932. We went at noon and were literally their first customers. So if you want to skip the crazy queue at night, go for lunch.

Ordered their stuffed crab shell, green curry roasted pork and stirred fried morning glory.

The crab shells were stuffed full with pork and crab meat filling, coated with egg and then deep fried. The filling was dry and it took a bit of effort to pry them out of the shell. Taste was good but I had better in Kemaman Malaysia.

The green curry roasted pork was not too spicy like most green curries. I wish the pork skin could be more crispy.

The surprise of the day was the morning glory. An unimpressive dish but they managed to serve it just right. Not over cooked and the stems were crunchy even at the end.

Lunch was Baht510 which was okay.

Decor is dated as old as 1950s i should say.
Quite authentic chinese style of cooking.
Portion is small but good in a sense that you can order more dishes.
Ordered the shrimp rice tang hoon ( rice noodle), Venus clams, crab meat with fried egg, spinach for 2 person.
Cost around 1100Baht.
Toilet is clean enough.
Good location as its right opposite the Night Market.

I came to Hua Hin many times for 20 years, but this is my first time visiting this restaurant. This place always busy every time I come and I was not patient enough to be in the que as night market is just across the road. I ordered the recommended dishes that I read from reviews. (1) Stir fried Seafood (Pad Kee Mao Talay / ผัดขี้เมาทะเล) - it is good. ???? (2) Deep Fried Prawns with garlic (กุ้งทอดกระเทียม / Goong Tod Gratiam) - Great dish ???? . Big prawns, the prawns are still moist, still can taste sweetness of the fresh prawns, not much seasoning topping but the deep fried garlic is delicious which makes it great combination. I ordered Stir Fried Morning Glory - delicious. It is classic style of Thai - Chinese cooking. Taste is not strong but well-balanced. If you expect strong taste of this dish, then this is not for you. But I like it. Another dish I ordered, stir fried crispy pork belly with green bean and Thai curry paste. I find the crispy pork belly is a bit dry and tense. Strong taste of curry paste but lack of flavour. Service is good. Food was not too long too wait, although the place was full. Drinks and Ice are a bit pricey.

Been living in Thailand for the past 10 years!

We visited this restaurant on a Thursday night. Not too many people and plenty of parking spots.

I always tell the chef “No msg for all dishes and no sugar for stir fried vegetables” I recommend y’all to try sometimes.

Great flavor and fast service. The waitress was friendly and remembered everything we ordered.

Most importantly, they use fresh seafood and the environment is clean (maybe it’s because we visited on a Thursday night)

I take off one star because i think the price could be more friendly! And will definitely visit again when I visit hua hin again.

Maybe y’all should try it on a less busy night for great flavors

Great Thai food with really good veg options, especially curry and mixed veg. Ambiance is authentic and service super smooth. Value for money - unbeatable.

One of my fave place to eat in Hua Hin. Have been there since 1932, this resto offers many Thai dish from seafood, chicken, beef etc. The must try is the jumbo prawns with crispy garlic. Also loving the spicy u0026 sour fish soups. The simple egg fried rice is also on point. The place is always crowded especially for dinner time.

The waiter kept asking my friend and I to order more dishes.. very price compared to other nearby restaurants. Steamed fish @THB450, others only charged THB300. Not significantly better at all.. we spent THB1800 for two ppl.. hate the experience.. will not come back.. owner is not very sincere and honest.. plus so many good restaurants nearby
