Don't be fooled by the beautiful photos of this hotel you might see online. The photos they used might be from years ago when the hotel is still new. The reception was not friendly at all. You will see a lot of fines and extra charges displayed on the counter. The room I booked doesn't look anything like they showed online. It was much smaller. Requested for double bed, but received 2 single beds. The bathroom is small and moldy. The safety box doesn't work. There are tiny cockroaches that will come out when you turn off the lights.

Even after the perfect time for hotels to renovate Zing was happy with its current standard. Although signs everywhere saying wear a mask, the staff do not. This hotel is very popular with the Indian community. I received a call from reception at 25 past midnight asking can workmen come though my room to use the balcony to fix the neighbours aircon. Unbelievable!! Lovely mould on the aircon too. One night was enough. I’m sure hotels in North Korea were in a better state. The best time here was when I left.

Great all you can eat breakfast they just need a real coffee maker lol 150 baht can't beat that at all

Grand for a very affordable room. Not too far from the start of walking street. Just a short bike taxi in.

Don't be lured by the purple, it's a very strange place and NO HOT WATER. First of all, at check-in, the clerk is rude, absolutely no effort to pretend to be friendly or happy. There is a price list for 'dirty or damaged' items at the desk as if it's the most important part of your stay. Again in the room, it's plastered across the walls in a very tacky way. Apparently they love to charge guests for anything possible. The next day, the rude guy was accompanied by an older couple (owners maybe) so this time he acted a bit more cordial but only after I said 'hello' to him. The area is very sketchy so if you're new to Cambodia, lack in street sense or are sensitive you do not want to be here after dark.
