Skip this gym. I went a few times but soon found out it's not worth it (despite the cheap price). The trainer wasn't at all interested in teaching. He'd hold pads for a couple minutes and that's it. No technique work, no clinching, no sparring. Plus, there's no locker room and no shower for after training which made it inconvenient.
I remember on one occasion in the middle of the pad session the trainer kept stopping to talk to someone outside of the ring. Couldn't he wait until the round was over at least??? Apparently not. It was obvious he was there to get paid and do as little as possible.
If that wasn't bad enough, he kept asking me to pay him 2000 baht to see a muay thai fight at Max Muay Thai. This happened everytime I trained with him (I think it was 3 to 4 times in total that I trained there). And what finally pushed me over the edge and made me decide to never go back was the trainer asking for tips at the end of his lackluster pad holding. It left me with a sour taste in my mouth.
So all in all, if you're just doing muay thai for fitness, maybe this is an ok place, because it's quite cheap. But don't expect a trainer who actually wants to teach you muay thai and help you improve. If you actually want to learn and grow as a nak muay, go to a real gym, which Twin Tiger muay thai definitely is not.
