Nice resort, a bit far from city center but then to be a resort with beach front I guess it has to be out there. Hotel structure seems old but has been kept up with today's need, it's very clean with bright colors everywhere. Breakfast is excellent with huge selections. Specious rooms have all amenities you need in a room. They gave us facing mountain room, after seeing the room went back to reception and asked for facing the sea which I highly recommend (the difference is like day and night, sunrise, sunset or any other time of 24hrs has something to look at and enjoy). The resort has a lot to offer, strolling around the beach, few gardens with plenty of gorgeous colorful flowers and even rocks by the beach to climb.

Huge disappointment. The restaurants, bars and pools are indeed great, however it’s one of those resorts too huge to be managed efficiently and give customers a caring experience. At least 50 people in line to get breakfast in the morning and similar to check-out. We had to go breakfast at Intercontinental (sumptuous buffet, compared to Royal Wing’s business hotel food). Not to mention just three elevators serving 3 wings and hundreds of rooms. Drive 500m more and choose Intercontinental instead.

Wonderful experience at the Royal Cliff Beach hotel. Property has beach access. Great view from Ocean deluxe rooms. Large and beautiful swimming pool. Water park for kids. Three restaurants inside the hotel. Tasty Indian food at the Maharani restaurant. Continental one was also nice. Overall satisfied, good value for the buck spent.

Second time staying here. The corridors are quite old but the rooms seem newly renovated. Overall the rooms are clean and pleasant, however the pillows are very thick and hard, causing me to have a bad night’s sleep. Bathroom is very clean, I really like it. However my room had curtains which didn’t close completely, which is a little awkward. Breakfast was mid. The taste is bland, the staff making the food was a little rude which did not please me. They had a wide selection but did not have a wide “international cuisine” selection. It was mostly Thai food, Dimsum and pastries. Had breakfast in another room (meeting room/hall) instead of the restaurant but it didn’t bother me much. In conclusion, the rooms are clean and new but corridors are old, food is mid and the selection is not that international.

Rooms clean but service substandard. They also won‘t let delivery drivers on the premises so you can walk to the gate and pick up the stuff. Coffee shop inside opens at 10am!!! Wannabe five star hotel with 3 star food and service. For the same money you can go to a chain hotel with corporate standards.

All style no substance. I visited the hotel with family years ago and was looking forward to sharing the experience with my partner. this may be through rose tinted glasses.

The facilities are great. Beautiful swimming pool and comfortable rooms with relaxing decor appropriate for a beach resort.

The bell boys and housekeeping are fantastic and come with a smile, enthusiasm and make an effort to have conversation.

However, front lines of customer service are terrible. Check-in feels like airport security rather than luxury hotel. We were greeted with no 'Hellos,' 'saswasdees,' or smiles but a firm 'PASSPORT' without any 'please' or 'thank you's.' We had no explanation of the facilities of the site in general.

Our initial dining experience was painful. I called Maharani to make a dinner reservation and was asked to wait a moment. No problem... However, after being on hold for 5 minutes I gave up and booked at reception face to face. I came back for dinner and the waiter had no reservation in place so I complained until they made space for us . He put my partner and I in the corner near their office. I am also half Thai - throughout our meal I could hear them making unprofessional comments they did not know I could understand until I spoke in Thai when settling the bill. It's not all negative though as the food was great. I just wish the customer facing staff made as much effort as the chef.

We had lunch at Breezeo on the beach front which was a much more enjoyable experience and the waiter was great. Attentive and friendly. They seemed to really enjoy their job which showed in their service.

A real mixed bag but staff customer service training could really do with some consistency, or in some cases for experienced staff, some refreshing.

Always stay at this hotel when I visit pattaya, perfect location,large car park,since my last visit rooms have been remodeled and a unique cantilevered glass infinity pool added to existing pool area which has awesome views across the ocean.
Staff were great, nice coffee area with fresh bakery, lunch was fab.
