Let's start with the positive assessment. I had my first visit to the hospital for a medical issue. In all fairness I should say that the staff were attentive and caring. The wait time was reasonable. It was better than average in other public hospital . The very negative and rather odd , unreasonable and disturbing part of my visit was that they required only cash payment and didn't accept my bank credit card that I'm used to using everywhere I shop and when I informed cashier that I don't have enough cash with me, she gave me the option of leaving my credit card with her as a " security" ,go to ATM machine or any other place of my choosing to get the cash so she'd release my card and give it back to me. I found it rather insulting , inconsiderate and uncaring . This
unreasonable policy caused me stress as I don't use ATM machine after I had a bad experience of losing my card in the machine at one time when the machine ate my card and didn't return it to me.So She forced me to go home long distance and get her cash . Anyway, the surprising thing is that after I got ahold of cash to make the payment, she went ahead and charged my card for payment even without me asking her to do so this time!!!. I didn't understand the sudden change of heart and inconsistency of the policy with different cashiers.The blood test result came back sooner than I expected .so that was positive. The doctor didn't spend even 2 minutes with patients. It was like an assembly line in a car factory. Patients went in the room and out so surprisingly quickly But I don't really have complaints about the Doctors diagnosis despite a quick doctor patient interaction. I can't make a comment about the cost because I haven't been to another hospital for the same issue to compare , but I would assume it was reasonable.
