The hotel is situated in a busy area of Bangkok with lots going on around locally. It took us about an hour + to get here from the airport. I would say it’s more appropriate for those who want a different take on the busy hustle and bustle of the city as it’s quite a drive/train ride away from the main city centre. The hotel is beautiful and clean with plush interior design elements and attention to detail.

The rooms are spacious, the bed is huge and very comfortable. The room has plenty of storage space and a small kitchenette including a coffee machine + the usual mini bar items. The bathroom is beautiful with a large walk-in shower incorporated with a large bath. It also has a very fancy toilet which was an interesting addition.

The design of the rest of the hotel is exquisite, breakfast is great with a range of both traditional and western cuisine to pick from. There is the option to sit outside in the secret garden area also which is decorated with beautiful foliage.

Roof top pool is lovely, clean and you will find the hotel gym, games area which is also stocked with complimentary snacks and tea/coffee/chocolate etc.

The staff are very polite/friendly and accommodating. They greet guests upon passing and all speak very good English.

Would definitely stay here again if I’m ever over this side of the world again! Many thanks once again for lovely experience! (February 2020)

The worst thing about this hotel was the service. I came back to my room one night and found my laundry and change in a see through plastic bag hanging at my door.

Other than that, there was always items missing in the room such as towels or toilet paper everyday. Also, the amenities are very very old, which look totally different from the officials photos. I felt scammed. Please see my photos for the wall, chair and window.

There were always rooms unlocked which seemed quite creepy at night.

It says it is labeled as a 5 star hotel, but I would say it’s about 3 star overall.

The only good thing about this hotel is just it’s location.

The interior of the hotel has some nice design elements. Front staff were very helpful and always cheerful. Around 7 mins walk from BTS station but the roads were a bit rough to walk with heavy luggage.

The room was not sparkling clean but acceptable. Housekeeping was a bit inconsistent sometimes and did not empty my bin and replace fresh towels. The toilet looked a bit old.

Overall stay was okay but I would say it’s a 4-star rather than a 5-star hotel as it claimed.

My stay were excellent. Room are clean u0026 spacious with nice interior design. Team members were helpful u0026 friendly especially front office concierge team members who were on shift between 1-3 sept u0026 receptionist who done the check in for us.

DO NOT BOOK THIS HOTEL. Nice hotel, absolute worst customer service that will ruin your stay.

Hotel looks nice and quaint. Rooms are also nice although a little dated. And location is perfect.

However, be ready to deal with horrible and inflexible counter staff and reservation team.
(Side note: we also hear noise from outside our window on the 3 floor)

We had an error in booking and wanted to update it online, but the online system is outdated and only allows changes via emails. Basically, by accident, half our stay was booked for one type of room and the other half another type. We explained patiently that we just wanted to stay in one room for the 3 nights, and did not want to move our luggages amid stay as it will ruin our travel plans. This is when the issue started.

Initially, the staff told us all the Deluxe rooms were booked out. When I showed that the online system said it is still available, the staff said I will have to cancel my old booking and forfeit one night’s payment. EVEN THOUGH we would be rebooking a more expensive room. I tried to be patient and explain that we did not want to cancel but just upgrade the room to a more expensive room, and pay what was stated on the website.

The staff suggested that we pay the walk-in fee and because “it is not expensive at all”—suggesting in a judgemental way. If not then “too bad” and “sign here”

All in all, staff had a ‘take it or leave it’ attitude without trying even a little to find a solution. This is of course my personal opinion, but I believe what separates bad and good hotels is how they try to help customers when they are in real need. The Salil completely failed.

Stay at Salil was so good . Service provided by the front desk team was so good and overwhelming. The warmth and care they gave us so good that we actually never wanted to leave . Special thanks to Ananya (Nan) and Bose for their great help and gestures , keep up the good work ????

Cute hotel - Parisian boutique hotel feel. Good pricing and friendly staff :)

The pool is a bit old, needs some refresh u0026 WiFi needs to be fixed. They struggled with it during my stay.
