Location is great right in the beginning of popular Thong Lo alley. It's easy to find, interior is nothing special but they have a lot of room, including more secluded upstairs and seats by the counter.

Very Japanese, portions are big and flavours are full and hearty, very clean cooking. I had a curry with katsu chicken, almost too plentiful. I would imagine the ramen retains this quality and vslue. There's free of charge refill jasmine flavoured water and they serve a selection of Japanese beers u0026 of course the usual tea, etc.

Frequented by Japanese expats.

It's the worst experience of me with this restaurant. This rest was changed from Grand Ramen to be Hokkaido Danryuu. 80% food lists was gone. The ice tea is price 50 baht (and plus VAT7% , total what you must pay is 54 baht). The Senior Staff was bad emotional to customer. This was first time and one time with this restaurant.

if you want ramen, you go to Thong Lor - this is the street with the highest ramen shop density in BKK; quality wise all the shops are above average; this one is very busy during lunch, requires though no reservation; cuisine and dishes could be a little bit cleaner, the price is also rather low

Usually one of my favorite places for tepanyaki hot plates, good quality beef. Other dishes like katsudon, grilled fish, curry and ramen also good. Always filled with customers especially Japanese. However today poor service, did not let a pregnant woman sit upstairs as only counter space available downstairs said upstairs was closed. Five minutes later 3 Japanese businessmen cam in and they opened upstairs. A little too bothered for the server to walk around on the empty side to serve the food or refill your glass. Ongoing Ten percent discount with local credit cards.

Very tasty and authentic Japanese flavor and generous serving size with a price to match. Not too expensive but a little pricier than usually Bangkok prices

Great Traditional Japanese Ramen Shop in Thonglor Area. Please note that the sign now says "Hokkaido Danryuu", not Grand Ramen.

Very tasty ramen. Wide selection. Great service. Visited twice the last time I was in Bangkok.
