You can only find great Thai fine dining in Thailand. First time experiencing a Thai style fine dining at this 2-Michelin Star restaurant in Bangkok. Great experience with a much cheaper price comparing to restaurants with the same quality in Singapore. Love all the presentations of every dish.

The food was great! The service and the venue was good, but a bit underwhelming for what I'd expect from a restaurant at such a price point.

Every single food i tried was a unique experience in itself. Very creative in terms of ingredients, presentation, and the cooking style. I would love to come back again to taste different menus in the future.

The service and the venue was good, but there were several areas where it felt like a local restaurant rather than a high-end place. The bathroom was dirty, i had to wait for 15+ minutes to get seated even with a reservation, the staff didn't seem to be familiar with some foods (e.g. couldn't explain well). I wouldn't say they ruined my experience.

Food is really good and kudos to the chefs can tell great efforts in planning those food. Love the appetisers that’s in map of Thailand, duck egg and duck curry, Ingredients were fresh and dessert is great. Deco and ambiance are good and comfortable. Washroom very pleasant too. Waitresses trained to ask customers how we feel seems caring but i don’t quite feel the spirit of service somehow. Cutlery were placed in a rush and confusingly redundant sometimes. Good food, great ambiance, average service. Overall great experience

This is currently 1 of the 6 restaurants in Bangkok which has 2 Michelin stars and 1 out of the 2 restaurants only serving Thai food. I have to say the presentation and the quality of the food is definitely there, am very impressed with the exceptional food I have tasted in R Haan. It was also an eye opener in terms of the theatrical experience.
The Amuse Bouche was interesting in terms of featuring food from different parts of Thailand in a map, and was very curious when I was made to choose 3 out of 6 items from the mains, which sounds very unusual from the other places for fine dining. There were a few items which I was caught off guard by the spiciness of the dish, but overall was enjoyable.
Some of the dishes were very memorable like the Crispy Rice Vermicelli, the Tom Yum Soup, Yellow Curry Grouper and the Sous-vide Duck.
As I mentioned to the staff, the way this dinner was presented was very special and it is very close to heart, as it feels like I am having a good Thai home cooked meal , and its also very unusual that you see rice in fine dining.
There is basically nothing much to fault on the dishes, except that the Bisque with Squid with the Parmesan Cheese Stick didn't go well with me. Didn't think the cheese could complement the dish, and the bisque was thick and the stick was thin it just broke the moment it was placed into the bisque. Probably I would have enjoyed it better with just sourdough.
What I thought was lacking was the customer service. There were a few things which didn't really live up to expectations, and the rating for this was more for the improvements to be made for the customer service than the food.
They changed the menu 1 day before I left for Bangkok, they told me they would send me the new menu but they didn't, and I had 2 days before visiting the restaurant.
I cannot believe I wasn't served the drink list until I asked for it. I had a bottle of still water, but then no one showed me the drink list, and I drank a lot faster because some of the dishes were spicy. So I realized I was almost finishing the water I requested for the drink list.
There were 1-2 dishes where the dish was served and the cutlery was not given for the meal, which I thought this was the staff being not attentive.
Thumbs up for the good food but a lot needs to be done for the training of the staff.

Had a amazing meal at R Haan! Every course was exceptional and took us on a journey with Royal Thai cuisine. Even better than the food was the service. It was every bit what I would expect from a 2 Michelin star restaurant and more. Incredible experience

A 2 Michelin star restaurant, R-HAAN offers an unparalleled dining experience highlighting authentic flavors from across Thailand. My girlfriend and I were highly impressed by the creativity, presentation, and the deliciousness of the food. We walked away stuffed and very satisfied.

You can find good thai flavor with this restaurant
The best thing is that the price matches with the value. Not overpriced like other restaurants which is not even a michelin. Hats of to this place

Recommendation is that if you go as a couple, there are 2 main courses to choose from! Take one each and share!
