Great local Thai food but you have to walk through their kitchen and back area to get to the main dining area which is a bit of a turn off as there is a strange stench inside the premises. Perhaps one option is to do a takeaway to better enjoy the food and not be bothered by the odour.

Highly recommended. Rule number 1 in Bangkok. The more dirty the place, the cleaner the food. The Thai mentality is street food. They do not cook at home and consume food in street restaurants and stalls. The food on the street is usually more palatable than in luxury restaurants. I have discovered this restaurant five years ago and since than became one of two preffered restaurants in Bangkok. Sea bass fish is highly recommended. Tom yum soup is not bad at all and there is an excellent papaya salad. In general it is difficult to order a non-tasty dish in this place. The owner is nice and the service is great.

This place hasn't changed a bit in the six years I've been visiting. That means the food is always good. The decor is, well, interesting. The clientele is, well, interesting. If you've found this place no doubt you were taken by a "local". It's worth that journey.

My FAVORITE RESTAURANT to go to after Soi Cowboy and Nana closes. VERY GOOD FOOD at a good price. Hope they keep the prices low and the food so very well prepared. That is what brings people back.

Excellent dishes for reasonable prices and good portions. What's not to like at this establishment so close and yet so far from Soi Cowboy.

The restaurant is buried down behind some other shophoises from the street, so their is no traffic noise. Wooden tables and chairs. Perfect for 1am munchies...

Interesting place with character and authentic Thai food. Portions small as they do not reflect the high prices charged. "Pork chops" were actually neck bones.
