Had a wonderful experience here. Thonglor is packed with speakeasys and hidden bars with Backstage being a must-visit for a drink.

Many have suggested to try out the others first before ending your night at Backstage. (or else just drink your whole night away here. Lols!)

The staff at backstage are a great fun bunch so don't be shy to ask for recommendations and get their take on what would be a good cocktail to have.

Leo and Jasper are amazing and we can't wait to be back again soon.

Possibly one of my favorite cocktail bars in Bangkok. The staff is friendly, willing to help u out with the menu as much as they can. Their signature cocktail list is LIT! Referenced from movies old and new. I had a seasonal martini. It was extra “dirty” which was exactly the way I would like it. For that, I think that martini made my all time favorite martini :) weeeee

Great concept. Great decor. Reasonably priced for thonglor area. Highly recommended

Perfect example of a bustling yet conscious crowd that makes for a good bar experience. Service is prompt, bartenders are very professional and the drinks blew our minds. Especially love the Japanese inspired cocktail where the grounded roast rice is sprinkled on top of the ice cube, reminding me of old Japanese tea houses every time I take a sip. Awesome experience! Love the quirky quotes as well

The entrance is a little confusing - it's inside the hotel Playhaus right next to Chalachol. We decided to visit since it is in Asia's Top 50, and one of the highest rating for Bangkok. The ambience itself is alright, people come in touch and go for a drink and they leave.

The drinks are beautiful, they cater to those who loves it mild to strong. Not strong enough? Speak to the bartender and get a customised one. Price is reasonable, staffs are friendly so no issues at all. Definitely worth it and will return again!

Backstage never fails to deliver. Their award winning cocktails are as good as the non-award winning ones. The bar itself with a long counter and small semi-separee seating options and calm background music makes for a wonderful dating spot or night out with friends. It's a mainstay for any Thonglor cocktail bar crawl.

Charming and classy joint. Great cocktails but a tad pricey for Bangkok. It’s located inside Playhaus, hidden behind red velvet curtains, in case you are having trouble finding it :)
