This is the gate for non Thai people.

For the best experience, aim to arrive here at 8am. You can get coffee and drinks from one of the shops.

If your coming from the river, walk up past Subway (the sandwich shop), stay on the Subway shop side of the road, as you approach the junction you will see that there are barricades that prevent you crossing the road directly to the Palace.

You have to walk along the barricades, cross the small road opposite the entrance, then keep walking with the barricade on the right until you almost double back on yourself.

You will find yourself standing almost opposite the entrance gate. At 8:30 the gate is opened to public and you are crowd controlled in.

Once you enter into the Palace grounds, walk as far as you can in a straight line. At the end you will find the ticket booths and also the toilets.

Entrance is ฿500 for all foreigners.

Once you have your ticket and clear the security.
