Phra Ubosoth or the Chapel of the Emerald Buddha is most important building in temple complex and was built by King Rama I in 1782. It is ordination Hall in real Thai style architecture.

This whole complex is really amazing and must see in Bangkok! Be careful about the dress code! You have to wear long trousers for man, women long skirt and covered shoulder or you can't get inside. There is a lot to walk and it's crowded

one of most impressive temple's in Bangkok. pay attention to dress code. you can save time in lines because of this. they borrow clothes anyhow.

Interesting architecture and Thai art work. The temple is full of Thai people who come here for blessings. Few foreignors but it is crowded on weekends.
