I guess this is an okay hotel. It's very old and very dated. Much to be desired as far as look. Also can hear the noise in the hallway of people talking. They could afford a little bit bigger TV 24 inches just not big enough for the room. Probably wouldn't recommend this hotel, except if you want someplace cheap for one night. And that's about all it's worth. Don't expect much but I guess it's a place to keep cool have a bed and keep the rain off my head. But that's about it.

best thing about this hotel is it's location - in a quite neighberhood not far away from quasan rd., but not too close either. the rooms are old but nice, decorated in simple naive way (bottom half of the walls is covered with wood ) which gives it authentic atmosphere. rooms has air condition, cable T.V (french and english chanells) , hot water and free wi-fi, and prices range is 15- 25 USD
(most expensive are the rooms with 3-4 beds, for 4-5 people). around the hotel, in small quite streets, can be found small cheap restaurants, with friendly thai people, and 50 meter away is the hectic qausan rd with all it's travel agencies, so it can be a good stop for planning and buying trips and tickets out of bangkok.

Still 1 of the best deal in this area. Quite busy so don't forget to book in advance. The 4th floor have been completely refurbished. The rooms are spacious. Not so new but clean. The rooms are cleaned everyday at your convenience and the sheets changed as well if you wish so. There is a small terrace with few tables downstairs and beers and soft drinks are available too

Reasonable expirence for what you pay, walking distance from a couple of main streets for food and drinks.friendly staffs and environment. Room bed was not the comfiest but was acceptable, room had a fridge as well which was nice to help keep water cold etc. Also had a TV which was a nice addition. Can be easy to walk past the building if you don't keep your eyes open for the sign.

Spent an afternoon here to recuperate after travelling for a few long flights. Private wet-room, the air-conditioning didn't work but there was at least a ceiling fan. Well located close-by taxis and tuk tuks, close to museums and the river. Was fairly quiet for the 5 hours I spent there in the afternoon. Staff were very helpful, also assisted in getting me a meter-taxi and translating were I wanted to go to.

I WAS ROBBED AT THIS HOTEL. I stayed 2 nights here and asked them to clean the room for only 1 day, I don't know who and when, but someone from the staff at this hotel stole a leather bag from our room when we were not there. We noticed it when we were packing our things to check out, then we went to the reception to complain and it was bizarre, they didn't understand what we said and laughed in our face. After a while, an English-speaking receptionist arrived and I explained to her, I asked them to look into the camera who came into our room and try to locate the bag, she said she would send me an email with news, but it never happened. I sent an email asking if they had found it and never got a response. I strongly do not recommend this place, for sure this employee should steal things often and the hotel did not seem concerned about it. The rooms are dark, the furniture is old and broken, the bathroom is filthy. There are many other options in this region, do not stay in this hotel.

I have stayed at this hotel on and off for over 11 years mostly with my Son.
They've always been helpful. 6 years ago due to having surgery, I stayed on ground level, at times, inconsiderate guests drinking in the wee
small hours were noisy and staff did nothing, except to keep selling them beer, other than that it was fine. This time however is a different experience, for some reason, most of the current staff refuses to walk up to another to talk, instead they choose to YELL from a distance at the other in a disgusting high powered Screeching. This,is Not the Thai way.
I'm on the ground level due to my lack of mobility, but trying to sleep when it suits myself is,impossible, and ear plugs haven't worked, consequently exhaustion has set in. Take rooms in the 300s and definitely bring good ear plugs too.
I have spoken to the reception staff more than once, but change seems an impossibility.
Apart from that it's a well priced clean hotel and you'd be hard pressed to find one better.
