Mam Tom Yum Kung is one of the most visited food stall in Phra Nakhon Area. There's no aircon, just outdoor seating.

Long queue from be time to time and the space always crowded with people.

The must order dishes are Tom Yum Creamy Soup and Stir Fried Shrimp and Squid with lots of garlic! Incredible taste.

Minus one star for no queue management, and no written down note from the server, once you ordered food, the person just memorized in his/her own head and carries via word of mouth to the Chef Mam (meaning....there's possibility your one of your food have the tendency to be forgotten).

This tom yum goong is delicious. They make it with shrimp head fat for a very nice creamy consistency and intense shrimpy taste. It’s quite spicy but not overly spicy and it is full of shrimp eggs.

Taxi from the Ratchathewi BTS station was 65 baht each way.

This entire neighborhood is full of street food stalls. Absolutely worth visiting just to cruise the street food.

This soup, rice, and a water was 170 baht.

Best Tom Yum Kung ever! Seldom will give a shot for street food but this was really good especially their crispy pork with vegs! Best dish across Bangkok. Service was fast too and relatively clean too with friendly service crews too

Seafood was fresh. The taste of food was much better than I expected. I finished all the Ton Yum soup by myself. Very cheap price compare to quality. Staffs are very helpful and friendly

Note that Mam Tom Yum Kung is NOT the original Tom Yum Kung Banglamphu. They just claimed the Google profile name “Tom Yum Kung Banglamphu” so when you google “Tom Yum Kung Banglamphu”, Mam Tom Yum Kung shows up. The original shop is the little corner shop right next to Mam Tom Yum Kung (see photos). Tom Yum Kung Banglamphu is the place recommended by Youtuber Mark Wiens - they have amazing Tom Yum with prawn head cheese in it :)
