5 SORIK LIFE “SORIK LIFE” - a month ago

It was one of the best hotels in our trip.

The view is amazing whatever the weather is. Sunny or raining. We took so many good photos with the view of Wat arun.

The breakfast, they put so much effort in it. The croissant, fresh juice, omelette and sausage everything was beautiful and delicious.

The staff were so nice and made us feel so welcome there.

I ordered pineapple fried rice with cashews and tastes very good! The waiters and the owner were very nice and the food came quick. My gf ordered pad thai and also very good! You can walk to the 4th floor and take pictures of the Wat Arun temple and the river.

We went there for lunch, we had an excellent larb (minced pork salad). The food is excellent and the place is quiet with a view on the river.

Nice quite place down an alley. Good food good service. Would highly recommend it especially after a walk around the grand palace

after visits to the temple, my friends and I dined at this place. It’s really nice and I love the atmosphere. The menu is friendly as well because we don’t read Thai. The food was really nice but for student tourists, it can be a little bit over our budget. Anyway, it was a nice dinner and the food was great. Would love to visit again, but perhaps with parents ????

Lovely, peaceful Thai restaurant with nice ambiance!

My friend took me here with a recommendation from another friend, and it was totally worth it! We went past the dinner time, at around 830pm, and there were only 1 or 2 other tables. It was really quiet, clean, and the seats were really comfortable. The air conditioning made it a lot more relaxing after a long day of walking around. The food was great (neither too oily nor too dry) and the price was not at all expensive. The mango smoothie was also refreshing.

The restaurant seemed to be a bit off to the side from the main street, so it felt a bit sketchy at first, but all good once you find it!

STRONGLY RECOMMENDED! I would definitely come here again if I visit Bangkok!

The restaurant opens at noon and in 20 minutes it was full. Situated at an alley near the Tha Tien pier, it's a quick walk over to a refurbished restaurant and hotel.
Staff are friendly and decorations rustic and tastefully done.
The menu is limited and portions are small but cheap so you can order more dishes to try out. Just do not have unrealistic expectations for food tho, everything was down to earth delicious and the ambience tied it all up nicely together.
Worth a detour, maybe a stay in the future?

but the cashew nut chicken was my favourite.
