This kind of place is why I read Google reviews. First visit to Bangkok and travelled with my family, a mix of vegetarians and meat eaters. This place was close to our hotel and since I'd read previous reviews I couldn't wait to visit. Firstly we were greeted with a fist bump (blow it up!) when we signalled that Jeng was our cafe of choice instead of the one next door. As mentioned elsewhere the staff speak fantastic English, there is also a large vegan/vegetarian menu to choose from. We all chose our dishes with all questions answered by our hosts. The food came out quite quickly as we were a large group and we were all very happy with our food (the spring rolls were the best ever!!!!) Very reasonable prices and happy faces all round. To top it all off, and to show how wonderful our Thai hosts were, when my mum left her pencil in the cafe by accident one of them got on a bike and came after us to make sure she got it back. You'd never get that in the UK! Hope to return one day. Highly recommend!

we love it!! This place is kind of hidden but the food is definetely the best local thai food we’ve found in Bangkok for such few money. We liked it so much that yesterday we came here twice and tried half of the menu. The prices are as cheap as the street food stands but they have a a lot of vegetarian dishes on the menu and you have a calm place to sit. The owners were very friendly and just adorable. This local restaurant provides you with signature thai dishes in a vegetarian and even vegan version!!! The owner speaks perfect english which makes it easy to be sure you are not getting egg or meat by accident. You can get dishes like Tom Yam soup(!!!) with veggies and tofu, Pad Thai, all types of curry and many other things!!! Everyone is super cute and helpful! Its also cheap! :)) so go and enjoy!!!

Yum! A cute little restaurant in a quaint alleyway not far from Khaosan area. Super friendly staff, so welcoming. The cooking is authentic, you write down your own order from the hand written menu. A lovely selection of traditional Thai dishes. We had a chicken pad See ew and green curry. There were lots of other delicious things that grabbed our eye too, like crispy pork and kale and other curries. The food was delicious and came out quite quickly. Yummy condiments, especially the pick nam pla (sorry about my spelling ooops!) hugely recommend!

Ate here so many times when staying in Samsen- great portion size, price, service with a smile, always welcoming u0026 offer takeaway too - drinks sizes also great, huge Thai ice tea for 40b u0026 food price ranges from 60-100 for most dishes -6/5 ????

Amazing food, amazing breakfast and the most friendly staff! It’s really cheap but so good and vegetarian friendly!! Definitely worth to go there for every meal :))

Absolutely delicious veggie food! So many options (fruit shakes were also great!) super cheap, big portions and everything is always fresh. Situated in a quiet little back street which is nice to get away from the busyness of Bangkok! Went there multiple times while in Bangkok and couldn’t recommend it enough especially for the veggie/ vegans travelling here ???? (they have dishes with meat as well)
