MBK Shopping Mall is one of the most popular malls in Bangkok. Downstairs there is a large and good supermarket. Fresh fruits are sold here, I think this market is good and complete.

Convenient as we live close. Not the greatest selection of fresh fruit and vegetables.

A "Cool" alternative to shopping/eating on the "Streets".
This area is a Huge, sprawling, interconnected set, of department stores, Malls as well as food courts-- and all air conditioned. If one does not like too much heat and humidity... give this "centrally located area" a try. There is a huge department store which sells everything--- and also "covered" Malls nearby. The food courts offer a "huge variety" of Thai, Asian as well as Western Food Favourites (and coffee shoppes)-- in an air conditioned, clean area with tables and chairs. This area is also frequented by many Thais as well as travellers.
