Holiday Inn Bangkok, an IHG Hotel

My wife and I were greeted very politely on arrival and upgraded to a room in the North Wing as a result of being a platinum member. Check in was swift and friendly

Room had a view towards the Skytrain and was a decent size as was the shower/toilet. The only bad thing was the mattress which made me feel as though I was always about to slide off the bed. Not conducive to a good night's sleep.

Business Centre was easy to access although as there's only one PC, you sometimes had to wait for a while.

Hotel was quiet due to ongoing Covid restrictions but the parts of the property that I saw were clean and tidy.

Beer Republic was inconsistent at best. Some of the food such as the BBQ Sausage Platter and Pork Knuckle was excellent. The Pulled Pork Sandwich and the Yam Taly were mediocre. Likewise with the beer, the Vedett IPA was great but my wife had a duff pint of Guinness which also wasn't poured correctly. The service also veers between efficient and indifferent.

Hotel is in a great location right next to Chit Lom Skytrain stop and is also within walking distance of a number of malls such as Siam Paragon and CentralWorld.

Check out was as painless as checking in and accomplished quickly and politely.

I have been staying at this hotel since last 15 years and feel this hotel as my 2nd home. some of the reasons of my repeated visits are
1) Best Service and hospitality by this hotel staff especially by Khun Pa-Arun, Khun Rat, Khun Milk and all concierge staff. They personally make sure, all the guest have pleasant and comfortable stay. They are always their to help and provide best service with smile.
2) Food: This hotel has several restaurants from Buffet to steak house to Italian to Chinese etc. Food quality in all of the restaurants is amazingly good. There are other several famous restaurants just at walking distance.
3) Cleanliness and quality of rooms is excellent. They take special note of preferences of repeated guest and make sure all the preferences are present in room before arrival of guests.
4) Location: This hotel is located in the heart of Bangkok, almost in front of Chit Loam train stations and few steps from Bangkok's most famous malls like Paragon, Central World, central Embassy and Central Chitloam etc.
This hotel is "must stay hotel" in Bangkok with affordable price and 7 star service.

This time we decided to try the Holiday Inn which is connected to the Intercontinental hotel where we normally stayed in Bangkok. The two hotels are connected by an indoor corridor which is great. The parking is also shared so we didn't have to move our car between hotels. The atmosphere at the Holiday Inn is more quiet and due to Covid pandemic, on-site restaurants, lounges, were temporarily closed. We were told guests can have breakfast at the same dining hall of the Intercontinental next door. To our surprise and disappointment, we were not given free breakfast which was always included in our stay at the Intercontinental next door based on our Platinum Elite status. After this stay at the Holiday Inn, the next day, we moved to the Intercontinental hotel and were recognized with our Platinum Elite status which gave us an upgraded room and free breakfast (as always with every stay). Except this disappointment, we were overall happy with our first-time stay at this Holiday Inn.

I was staying here for 6 days and 5 nights, and I had a very pleasant stay ever! Breakfast was perfect, room was very very very clean, their service was also a top-notch quality. The hotel is very kids friendly too if you're travelling with infants.

Location was superb, very close to shopping malls and restaurants. So we had no issue in finding places to eat and hangout.

I rarely write reviews in Google, but they deserve this! Awesome job!

Holiday Inn BKK ( Ploenchit ) has got all its rooms fully renovated.
Very nice rooms tastefully renovated.
The breakfast is taken together with adjacent Intercontinental hotel. Both hotels are connected, so no worries.

I remind that this property is located right in the very heart of BKK.
Just in front of Ploenchit BTS ( sky train - metro ) station, connected also with a very nice, safe and clean walk-away that allows you to walk peacefully and access in just a few minutes BKK's largest and / or most premium shopping malls. ( Central Ploenchit, Central World, Siam Paragon..etc... )

I am very impressed with your staff at the front desk and the ease of checking in and checking out. The rest of the staff have also been great and I thoroughly enjoyed my stay there.
My room also exceeds my expectations, but I have to highlight that the shower curtains was unable to stop water from flowing onto the floor. So pls take note of that.
Will definitely recommend to others and I will also book the same hotel when I am back.

The hotel service is good. Room of reasonable good size. Location is easy to find food with Central world, Siam Paragon just around the corner.
BTS station is right beside the hotel.
Big pick up point shared with Intercontinental hotel.
Room table for working. Good shower water pressure. Breakfast is with good spread. Will stay here again if the price is right.
