Nice Indian Food, quantity needs to be little better. Paneer dishes are not as expected. Medium cost budget. Good to go option in Karon Beach, Phuket.

We ordered egg curry , mushroom curry , vegetable pakoras and thai shrimp cakes , they were all around 8.5/10 (points lost due to oily curries).
Pakoras were outstanding due to their crispness and due to the spice they were seasoned with. 10/10
The dhal soup was a complete disaster as it had a strange yogurt like sour taste, we couldn't go beyond couple of spoons. 0/10
Thing that I loved about this place was that food tasted fresh and didn't need Imodium the next day, the staff were friendly as well. 10/10
I will recommend this place to anyone wanting a break from the local cuisine.

This restaurant gave me the worst case of food poisoning I've ever had. My partner and I shared a meal and we were bed ridden for 2 full days of our vacation. We had rice, daal, and potatoes in case anyone's wondering. We were so thankful that we weren't affected on one of our travel dates because I don't think either of us would have been able to board a flight, but it made us cancel all of our plans we had in Karon. Just for the risk of it I would not recommend this place to anyone. I wish I could give it 0 stars.

Nice restaurant serving good Indian food. Near karon beach, and we came here just exploring nearby. Veg and nin veg available. Indian food made for us was awsome and prices are also very reasonable. Interiors are also very good like kashmiri house. And service is also very good and fast.

This is now called Taj Mahal - the food is very fresh- great flavours u0026 big portions - beautiful.curries. They also do Thai u0026 European food. Bashaarat the owner is a lovely guy - highly recommend it u0026 is Halaal
