The morning started out with a misunderstanding about how and where I was to register as a patient. The information given and the signs were not clear. However, once the staff realized the misunderstanding, they made the best effort to facilitate my care in a speedy fashion. So much so that I felt like a VIP. Everyone was so polite and helpful. I must also add that the doctor was so helpful and nice. I don't remember his name, otherwise I would also write his name to show my appreciation.

If you are a foreigner, try not to use the services of this hospital. I have never seen such a racist attitude anywhere in Thailand. Previously, I went to this hospital because of the social insurance policy, then as a private person without insurance. If your insurance allows you to go to another hospital, go to another. Many times I have witnessed a situation when foreigners were deliberately detained for 4-8 hours, sending them to the end of the queue so that all Thai patients pass first. It doesn't matter when you come and how difficult your case is - you will wait a very, very long time. This was the case when I presented with a severe case of dengue fever, which was when my friend presented. with another disease. I have seen many times when foreigners quarreled over such behavior with the hospital staff, moreover, I myself was repeatedly forced to quarrel with the administration. They will simply suck money out of you, starve you out and disrespect, disrespect and disrespect. If such a racist attitude were in another country and towards other races, the management staff would have long been fired in disgrace!

Mission Hospital Phuket
Had to watch for over an hour the Nurse doing useless and inefficient Paperwork until I finally was able to see the Doctor to get some Insulin refill from Sanofi which I use for Years.
In Switzerland I pay without a Recipe or Doctor visit for 6 Capsules 86 CHF (3133Thai Baht) direct from the Pharmacy. At Mission Hospital I had to pay a total of 8363.-Thai Baht (230CHF)
I asked why so high? Answer, Lab and Doctors Fee, which Lab? I have no clue as only my weight and Blood pressure was checked by a Nurse, Blood sugar was never checked, but the Doctor told me how much Insulin i have to inject, how is this possible without checking my Blood? the Doctor just asked me if I know this Medicine and know how to use it. In addition he told me that my Blood pressure is high. He recommended some Medicine which he subscribed me 100 Pills which is included in the 8363 Baht

Chaotic, disorganised, bureacratic, not clear where to go, what the process is.... My hotel manager booked me an appointment for a PCR test with fit to fly certificate at 8.30am for $3200thb. Turns out no appointments, cost is $3700thb including fit to fly, and I was there for hours. Unlike everybody else in the world, they do not email the certificate and results. I have to now go back again to get the results. More taxi costs and probably more waiting. Do not go here for fit to fly !!!!

Don’t recommend this hospital to anyone, I was trying to get consultation with the ENT doctor and made appointment booking one week in advance .
When I came there they said if I wanna see ENT Doctor I need to get a Covid antigen test which is cost 800Tbaht, but I’m fully vaccinated and don’t have any symptoms

They said they’ll send me the results by email within one day, but I still didn’t get it… I wrote two emails in case they’ll make mistakes…

all I got was 2 minutes of conversation with a regular guy therapist with vague english, he didn’t even look at my tonsils and couldn’t understand my problem properly… but the interesting fact was that he recommended me antibiotics and make a covid-test I don’t really understand why doctor/therapist gives prescriptions for antibiotics without a detailed study of the problem.

After that I just went to the government hospital in Patong and got everything I wanted without any covid tests for only 240 Baht, I received detailed advice from a competent ENT specialist and she didn’t recommend me to use antibiotics as it may be too resistant for future diseases.

PEOPLE PLEASE AVOID THIS PLACE! Better go to the Government hospitals
