Happy elephants. A chance for a up close and personal experience with elephants. You can feed them, or have a wash with them or get them to take you on a ride. One can tell that the elephants are treated well and are happy!

The elephants were beautiful. We saw the reviews and assumed it would be ok but it is not. We regret going for it but we didn’t see anything wrong until we were on the elephants and saw the sharp sickle. In fact our daughter changed her mind on swimming with the elephants and we asked for refund for her and the staff showed how unhappy they are.

One of the staff was very ruthless with the elephants. They use the sharp sickle to control the elephants and I saw him poke straight into the elephant’s head and caused a bleeding hole. We feel very bad and we hope to warn others not to support this establishment. Go to other elephant sanctuaries!! Do not support Kokchang.

The elephant we rode on wasnt trained properly. It kept on bending right and left to eat midway in the scary trail and we slid on our seat which was scary.
The staff are rude and they dont speak english well. Which is weird since we are paying customers they should smile to us for us to have a nice experience.
Horrible trail for the elephant to walk on. Very narrow and steep too scary.
Bad experience never again.

Very nice place. The staff is very friendly and helpful. Animals are clean and no signs of cruelty towards them.
Elephant riding along the seashore is great! Mahouts make nice photos of you during your ride.

Such a cool experience.
The service was fantastic, from pick up to experience at the safari to drop off.
I highly recommend this place.
