Beautiful beach and friendly atmosphere. We enjoyed our visit. Things you need to know:
1) lots of restaurants and places to eat or get a cold drink within 20 yards u0026 not expensive
2) Beach chair u0026 umbrella is 100baht per chair
3) there are designated concrete parking spaces in the area by lake but you can also park off the side of dirt road just watch for falling coconuts
4) there are publuc bathrooms and showers in a building available for 10baht per person
The beach was very clean and the water was clean u0026 no debris. This is really long beach front so plenty of room to have space around you if you don't like crowds. I highly recommend this beach if you are looking for a beautiful view, relaxing time, u0026 good swim. Enjoy! Sabai sabai

A light breeze blows from the sea, huge palm trees quietly shake their fans of dark green branches, their trunks are strangely like the clumsy legs of monstrous elephants. Boys - half-naked children of the Thai streets - jump like sparrows, filling the air with muffled screams and laughter.

Quiet with few visitors.
Waves breaking on miles of sandy Beach. Sun chairs with shades available, but well used.(old). Town nearly deserted, however I expect that to change soon. Bring a hat, and lotion.

Extremely clean and not so crowded place. The walk to the beach was serene.

Wonder beach area with good surfing waves. Peace and quiet now still due to low tourist rates and probably the best time to have all the space! Food and ameneties nearby with limited parking spots.

Wonderful beach and park. Fine sand, mild waves, and spacious enough that it never feels crowded.

Be wary of the sellers of aqua sports activities; the prices swing wildly and can be negotiated much lower than the listed prices. Make sure you also negotiate duration of the activity. One seller attempted to cheat me from a 10 minute paragliding, which only lasted 4, but I held my ground and got half my money (600 bath) back after threatening to call the tourist police on them.
