Great place to visit for those who love ocean views as well as a little trek.

The trek is about 10min from start to the southern most point. It isn’t too difficult a trek (had a 5-month pregnant lady completed it in sandals and saw a few elderly ladies complete it too).

It’s possible to do it with slippers, but it’s probably better to wear better footwear.

Toilets here are relatively clean.

No admission fee required.

Gorgeous views on the southern end of Phuket.

This is the ideal place to enjoy a sunset.

However, it is not a secluded place for peace and quiet if you spend time in the most highly trafficked spot. Tourist buses arrive in throngs to take in the sunset with you.

If you do not mind some hustle and bustle along with jaw-dropping views, this is for you.

Note; a less mesmerizing but still beautiful sunset with a similar view awaits via a quiet little retreat a few minutes away from here. Expats, locals, or your willingness to explore will point the way.

Must visit place in Phuket. Amazing view of sea. One of the best places to watch sunset. You can catch the sunset from above or actually hike down onto Promthep Cape for a unique experience. I did hiking and sit in front of the cliff. Weather was windy. So peaceful evening.

Beautiful and refreshing cape thanks to the strong breeze from the sea. Beware of the big crowd on holidays though. My experience there wasn't peaceful because there were so much noise from the crowd. The person sitting next to me was watching videos without headphones on..... :( Because people from all walks of life gather there to see the sunset, you can't expect all of them to be considerate, I guess.

Amazing scenic view... We really enjoyed our walk in this park... It has a huge Banyan tree, surrounded by mind blowing view of the mountains and the sea... Try to go around sunset.... The place will really sooth your eyes and calm your mind...

Must visit place.
Beautiful sunset viewpoint.

PS: Should arrive 30-40 minutes before sunset time and stay until the sun actually goes down, you will see differences of lights.
(All the photos took on the same visit)

Very neat place to watch sunsets from. During my stay (Jan 22) cannot say that saw many people there. So the place is great for contemplations or even mediations.
Stumbled upon local wedding ceremony while being there last time.
