It is a narrow strip of land along the river which is a public space. The road bridge has a nice view.

Along the river through the centre of Phitsanulok they made a walking/bycicle track, in a style you often see in Europe. Very nice and traffic free walk all the way to the temple.

River view at Rim Nan River, Phisanulok Thailand, traditional and ordinary life. You can take a break from hard work, traffic town and weaknesses, walk around the city see and take a deep breath then you will see the answers as you waiting for.

We went to Phitsanulok by chance and really did not regret our visit. It feels like it's still unspoiled and kind of away from the busy tourist hotspots. Eating budget is half of what you need in places like Phuket, Krabi, Koh Samui or even in the northern area like Chiang Mai or Chiang Rai. Restaurant staff trying to grab you by the arm to get you into their establishment is non existent. It's no simple task to even have a menu card in English (which we did not consider an issue though). When arriving at the bus terminal it felt a bit strange not having the usual army of taxi drivers to welcome you. So Phitsanulok was really a breath of fresh air when you've known the busier places of Thailand.
