This resort is the perfect combination of a relaxed bare foot vacation and luxury five star experience. We were a family with three teenaged boys and had the most wonderful time at the resort.
The rooms are nothing like we have ever experienced before and give you the experience of living in nature while enjoying perfect comfort. We stayed at two Garden Suites, one for us and one for the boys.
The food is simply amazing. We’ve tried almost everything on the menu during our stay and both Thai and Western cuisine dishes are done at the same high and delicious level with attention to every detail.
The staff is very professional and always willing to help and attend to every need and request.
The hotel can also arrange for boat trips and other activities around the islands. We went to a couple of snorkelling excursions and would highly recommend them.
This is not your typical resort. If you are looking for a high end relaxed vacation at a tropical sandy beach surrounded by nature, this is the place for you.

My girlfriend and I came for one night and loved it so much that we just kept on extending.

It’s the PERFECT place for honeymooners or any romantic getaway. You’re surrounded by jungle and have a stunning beach right in front of your doorstep. Just walking barefoot through the entire hotel was a wonderful experience.

If you’re thinking of proposing, THIS is the place ;) I waited a whole year for the right moment and place and finally found it here. The kind staff even set up a magical beachfront candle light setting for us that made the moment truly unforgettable. My girlfriend (now fiancé) had tears in her eyes ????❤️

They have clearly put a LOT of effort into integrating with nature, rather than building a big hotel that just sticks out like a sore thumb on such a beautiful island. I wish more hotels and resorts had chosen to take this approach - the beaches and islands of Thailand would look very different…

The only negative reviews I could see about this place, were people who clearly were expecting the wrong thing. This place is for people who love nature. Oh and foodies, because the restaurant is amazing (and their breakfast is one of the best I’ve ever had!)

We’ll definitely be coming back, who knows, maybe even for the wedding, as I heard it’s a great spot for that too!

Take off your shoes, and breathe a great sigh of delight as you step foot onto the white sands of Zeavola. Turquoise waters, lush gardens and quietness are beckoning. The accommodation in stand-alone grass-hut villas provides utmost privacy with only the immediate garden fauna to be heard (enjoyed). Ladle your feet, and enter your suite - delightfully presented with traditional Thai woodwork and linen. Many quaint delicate touches - feels like you've arrived to stay with a local grand family as opposed to a tourist. Bathroom, bedroom and living areas generously sized with mosquito bed-nets provided. Fly screens however, would have been ideal to have use of the room without the need of air-conditioning. Only other thing missing was adequate bathroom task lighting and shave mirror. Regardless, very little time need be spent in room, as the resort sits on near-perfect, near-isolated beach. We used the resort for our scuba diving base. Great dive centre. However, if diving is not your thing, grab a snorkel and enjoy the marine life around the nearby rocks. No need for water shoes, no problem with jellyfish, seaweed or trash. Surprisingly, it's a public beach but too distant even for local vendors to be an issue. There is one immaculate pool, sitting beautifully amongst the gardens. Sit back, read, relax...doze off in the afternoon shade. Plenty of chairs, bean bags, cabana's, umbrella's and beach towels at the ready. The hotel speed boat transfer to/from Phuket Marina was effortless and efficient despite the hotels remote location. Limited dining options but restaurant/buffet provide a bounty of local fresh produce. Front desk, guest services, and restaurant ran like clock-work, all delivered with warmth. The hotel, its staff and general manager Lion truly live up to Thai hospitality... which is hard to beat. They did all they could to make our stay as comfortable as possible.

Superb. Their motto of “barefoot luxury” is exactly what you get. To those who are expecting swanky, modern, soulless 5*.. I suggest you change your expectations.

Zeavola is rustic, charming and full of soul. Service is at the centre of the staffs mentality here and no request is too much. We came here on honeymoon and our time was spent refilling our wellness cup. Couldn’t think of a more peaceful, beautiful and comfortable location to do it. Highly recommend Pool Villa Suite. So much space and privacy.

Special mention to Chef Satya, superb chef with a deeply impressive knowledge of what he’s cooking. Lion, the GM, a great host and extremely attentive to all guests needs. And all of the staff.. some are young, others don’t have great English but they are all absolute professionals and a credit not just to the resort, but the cream of the crop on Phi Phi. Bright futures ahead.

An amazing eco resort on phi phi don. Located right on the beach we stayed in a garden villa. Nestled in the treetops with direct access to the beach. It was private and quiet and oh so relaxing. We would meander down the sand to breakfast and the beachfront, book long tail boats to travel out for tours and snorkeling right from the beach. Located on the quiet side of the island this was the perfect get away. And we will most certainly be back. 5 stars

Zeavola is one of my absolute favorite resorts in Thailand and made me fall in love with Koh Phi Phi when I first came here years ago. I have been back a few times since and love it every time.
True barefoot luxury - you walk around with your feet in the sand but won' be missing any amenities of a luxury hotel. Especially returning after lockdown I was amazed by what an amazing job the staff has done with the upkeep of the hotel unlike so many other places. Now that guests are returning - smiles all around, it was so wonderful to be back!
Don't forget to get up early one day to watch the sunset on the beach - stunning, and you can make yourself a fresh cup of coffee in your room to take with.
Can't wait to return soon!

Eco-friendly Resort in the middle of nature. You can forget your shoes for the whole stay.
We booked a "garden suite" for a week: the rooms are well kept and surrounded by the jungle. White sheets, air conditioning, local shower products, wooden floors, all perfectly clean. Even though at the beginning we were afraid people could see inside the room, I can assure that once you pull the light white curtains, your privacy will be 100% guaranteed.
We enjoyed late afternoon baths in the main pool, surrounded by palm trees and the birds sounds.
A few words for the Spa too: best massages I've ever had. The treatment are pure luxury level, not even close to the ones in Europe...not even in the most expensive places! Every detail is thought: from the flower composition under the bed, to the essential oils you can smell during the treatment. You feel cuddled from head to toe. Just to make you understand, after the massage, the masseuse took some time to gently brush and braid my hair.
The restaurant was excellent (I left a dedicated review on Tripadvisor) and we highly recommend it.
The beach: what to say! White sand, blue transparent water, light breeze. Maybe not the best spot for snorkeling lovers, but you can ask the reception to book a boat trip for you to visit a few snorkeling spots that will take your breath away.
In general, our stay has been wonderful.
If I can add one little note for the staff, who is always smiley and very kind: if some guests are disrespectful and loud, listening to videos with no headphones or making phone calls or just yelling instead of talking, please don't be afraid to remind them that Zeavola is an oasis of peace and that all the other guests are paying for the sound of the sea and for the birds singing. A suggestion would be to move the last page of the menu to the front page ;)
Thank you for everything.
