Though it says “3-start hotel” we felt like we were in a 4-star hotel really.
It’s located in a quite remote place. When checking, free ride from the pier (just look for bunch of people with signs, at the arrival dock). High quality bungalows with floor to ceiling panoramic window are incredible.
Ideal place to hide away, enjoy silence, nature and possibly a good book.
A real hidden germ of Phi Phi. Highly recommended.

This a beautiful place to have a quiet vacation! The location is a little far out of the main town, about a 30 minute water Taxi away, but that makes it a quiet retreat! There is a little town a short walk away that has some shops, massage rooms, and restaurants, but the resort has a great restaurant as well with many options for food. The staff is great and took such good care of our family, they were quick to respond to any requests we had. We stayed in a 2 Bedroom Family Bungalow and it was enough room for our family of five to stay comfortable for the three days we were there , the rooms were a little tight with the large beds but we didn't spend much time in the rooms anyways. There are so many things to do around Koh Phi Phi that I would recomend 1 week here to give you enough time to enjoy a couple days just relaxing by the pool as well.

We enjoyed our stay very much. Don't be misled by the busy Ton Sai Pie, at Phi Phi Phu Chalet you will find calm! The staff is so attentive and takes great care of you (special thanks to Pin and J!). The quality of the food provided is very good and we enjoyed every meal. We were quite surprised to find great snorkeling spots right in front of the resort. Some boats even brought people there for snorkeling but not too many. Beautiful Nui Beach is about 35min by foot.
In the beautifully furnished bungalow we had everything we needed, the air-conditioning was good and the beds super comfortable. On our whole trip to Thailand we couldn't find a better pool - perfect temperature and very clean.
They offered a tour that covers all the touristy spots which was great.
If you are looking for high quality and calm you're right at Phu Chalet!

The rooms are situated literally in the forest with amazing sea view and a very nice terrace, with mats to relax on. The staff was very friendly and helpful. One disadvantage is the fact that you have to pay for transportation to and from Ton Sai port which costs 200-250baht per person. The pool is very nice, the beach in front of the hotel is rocky and quiet. We preferred the beaches around which were 5-15 minutes walking distance. We were also offered free canoeing which was a great experience. The lady in the check-in was very smiley but with a cunning vibe, she changed our reservation without notifying us in advance. We had booked a two bedroom family room and she changed it to two single rooms. Although this was an upgrade we would like to have been informed about it prior to our arrival. Overall we had a nice stay. Definitely check out local treehouse restaurant Chili and Pepper 10 mins walking distance from hotel.

Nice Rooms, with a really nice view. The employees are friendly but they didn't understand any special orders. The Manager speaks better English. They charge you every transport to the hotel without talking to you till the end.

We had a wonderful stay at Chalet resort.
The receptionist and her staff are adorable, they took great care of us, we thank them a lot.
The bungalows are amazing, they are made out of wood, with a nice terrasse, the bed is big and comfy. The view is stunning. They are perfectly geared, AC, fan, umbrellas, tv, strongboxe, wifi, a bunch of free softs and water, etc…
The shower is good with hot water, and it’s clean.
The sun rise is right there when you wake up and the sound of the waves make the perfect combo to start the day !
There is a beautiful pool by the lobby.
The hotel is located out of the main and busy village, you’ll take a little boat to reach the hotel. It takes 20min and the ride is gorgeous. The rides to get there and to go back after the check out are included.
There is a tiny village about 10 min walking wich provides a few groceries, massages and a few humble bars.
We definitely recommand +++++

The place can be amazing with few improvements.
The potential is great. The reef just outside the resort is amazing for snorkeling ( a lot of tours come here to do that) .the rooms are great with amazing view. Yet it is only 4 stars ...
Breakfast is boring and can be much better, I understand that buffet is difficult for a small resort, still you can add more dishes and give a free choice.

Shuttle to the village will make life easier

Be aware that in low tide you can’t cross the reef ( swimming or kayak) , don’t get stuck in the ocean...

A floating dock that will pass the reef, will make this resort a diamond
