To be avoided at any cost! We paid for a room with aircon and the staff gave us a room with a fan. How are you supposed to stay in such a warm place without aircon... When we complained about that issue, the staff was borderline aggressive and violent and didn’t even consider listening to us. Otherwise the room is dirty, insects are to be found, WiFi can’t be accessed from the room, persistent smell inside and linens are not really clean. Hope this place will be shut down so that tourists stop being scammed

Loved Phi Phi island and the Tara inn. The host managed to squize me in even though I was the extra person outside of the booking.
There was air-con in the room and everything else you need. Neaby to the beach and the clubs.
I'd highly recommend this place.

Do not stay here. The staff are friendly but the building should be condemned and torn down. On the positive side there were geckos in the room to eat the bugs...(if you look at that as a positive aspect)

A terrible place. For the air conditioning you need to pay extra 400 Baht. The room smells bad, a lot of dust and dirt. Near the bar with very loud music until 2 am. Non isolated electric cables in bathroom.

Good luck if you book online. The lady at the front desk said you can't book online. We showed her it's still available on the booking sites. The "owner" isn't here and he was suppose to take down the online booking. 1 star was given so I could post this review.

Affordable, centrally located, and super friendly! Tara Inn is a great spot to stay on Ko Phi Phi, especially for younger vacationers and backpackers. Walk around the corner to the beach, kayak rentals, long tail boats, and fire parties. Use the wifi in the open air lobby and listen to live music across the street. Like most places on the island, the music from local bars can be heard well into the night. But you're here to have a good time, right? Enjoy!

- cold shower only
- fan room can get pretty hot (ofcourse)
- can be noisy because of the banana bar (close your windows)
- rooms are small, but good enough to suit 2 persons
- location is perfect, everything is nearby and only 80 meters to the beach
