Lucky’s Italian food is the best I’ve had in Thailand! She uses fresh ingredients, REAL cheese (freshly grated Parmesan!), and homemade bread. The homemade coconut ice cream is a must too! Also, this is one of the few places in the area that serves khao soi (a northern Thailand dish). Lucky comes from the north, so you’re in the right place! Lucky is so sweet to chat with, always good vibes. Thank you, Lucky!

One of the best restaurant that we have visited in Ao Nang. Since we were vegetarians, she understood our requirements and served very delicious and nutritious meals. Thank you so much Lovely.

I would go miles (which I literally did) to get the chicken parmegiano 'au gratin' with fresh grated, real parmegiano and if you feel hungry ordered together with pasta.
..and even I'm not a sweet tooth I can't resist the huge juicy browny combined with homemade coconut icecream..
very reasonable prices!

Lucky is so cool and sweet and what a nice relaxed place - always worth to go these miles for a good time visit :)

I stumbled upon Sweet Monkey while wandering around and looking for some food. I couldn’t believe my luck. Sweet Monkey is, quite sincerely, the best restaurant I have ever been to. I went back to eat there every day for weeks, until I left Thailand. Lucky, the owner and chef of the restaurant, makes incredible homemade Thai and Italian food that is beyond delicious, and you can tell with every bite that it is made with love. Lucky also makes the greatest homemade chocolate brownie and coconut ice cream I’ve ever tasted.

Not only is the food so good, but Lucky and Jimda are truly some of the friendliest, coolest, and sincerest people I have ever met. The restaurant ambience is beautiful and peaceful with many plants and intriguing decorations from around the world. I am certain that as soon as I am back in Thailand, I will be eating at Sweet Monkey again. It’s that awesomely good. Very accommodating for vegans and vegetarians, and yes – there is free wifi. Bonus: Ask Lucky for the “Lucky Sweet Monkey Time Check.”

We received such a warm welcome as soon as we arrived, and the owner asked us right away if we were vegans or vegetarians, which is appreciated as we were two vegans. She definitely is very familiar with veganism. We chatted a lot, she was just so sweet and caring. We had the green and red curries and they were absolutely delicious. The thai tea was also very good. The portions are quite big for a thai restaurant, so be careful not to order too much. I'm a big eater and I was more than full with just the curry.

I definitely recommend you to give it a try. It is totally worth the visit. 5 stars.

A fellow American I met in Krabi told me that I should eat at Sweet monkey which happened to be a 2-minute walk from my hotel. I ordered red curry and vegetables and the papaya salad and I have to admit they are some of the best food I've ever eaten in Thailand and I've been coming here for 15 years I can highly recommend a visit to Sweet monkey. The owner is exceptionally nice inattentive.

A highlight of our stay in Krabi, the massaman was spectacularly good. Lucky has her own style for sure and it’s great! So friendly and welcoming we were there to the early hours one night! Adorable pet dog too. Can’t recommend this place enough.
