I would give 5 star if they follow the price tag, I think they extra charge foreigner for 20-23%. 258 bath per person

This review is for SJ BBQ buffet in Aonang Krabi. Food are in a refridgerated display so it feels a bit safer than some of the other hotpot buffet places. I have eaten here a few times and never been sick so that's a plus. Buffet cost 199 baht per person and 59 baht for soft drinks buffet which they force you to take. Even if you buy beer and not take soft drink they will charge you the 59 baht anyway.

Be aware of this restaurant! They said 258 for 2 hours and it’s written everywhere. But when I went to pay they said it’s 299 and found different reasons why should they charge me not a normal price. When I say I’m not gonna pay more than I should and I said they can even call the police the woman at the counter said that she doesn’t care about the police.

The food is not fresh but in general it’s ok for this price. I would’ve given them 4 stars but their behavior and the lack of service really spoil everything.

If you want a cheap, good, all you can eat hotpot Thai buffet, this is the place. A bit of a drive or taxi ride from the main drag.
Popular place with the Thai locals. Provides fresh seafood caught the same day, contrary to other reviews on here.
Electric grill is 199 bhat for all you can eat, a coal fire stove cost additional 100 bhat.
Has multiple food selections including beef, pork, chicken, fish, shellfish, small crabs, prawns, sea snails, jellyfish, vegetables, and egg tofu.
They have two sauces for dipping, a seafood sauce and a meat sauce.
Language barrier could be an issue so patience is helpful as it is a very busy place. I brought a friend who could translate Thai and had no problems.
If you take more food than you can finish, their may be a 50 bhat at fee per 100 grams (0.1 kg) of wasted food.
Beverages are large bottle of water and a 1.5 liter of coke-a-cola on the table when you arrive. They DO CHARGE for the water bottle and/or coke. They also have fanta soda for sale.
Ice is not made by the resturants in Thailand and delivered by seperate companies. There is a 30 bhat charge for a small bucket of ice.
They sell beer and cocktails at prices listed on the walls.
There is also icecream for sale in two flavors, chocolate and strawberry.
If you looking for reasonable authentic Thai hotpot, I would recommend this place. It is Thai casual and they have live music of guitar and singing.
538 bhat, for 2 people including soda, 2 ice buckets, 1 icecream, and 2 full stomachs.

Super awesome mookata on a budget! Good spread of meat and vegetable. They screen EPL on a 40in-ish TV but play Thai music in the background. Will definitely be back!

First we got a pan that didn't warm up and had to wait so long time to ger new one. Waited for bill like 15 mins and after paying we realized it was 200 baht too much and had to go ask our money back.
