We had a fantastic time while staying here! Natty (The owner) went above u0026 beyond when it came to hospitality.

She got us INCREDIBLE deals on day-trips and excursions. So much so that my wife and I started “rounding up” when asked by other travelers how much we were paying for our day trips (On average, we were spending 40-60% less than other westerners who booked their excursions elsewhere). She even helped arrange our travel to Ko Lanta for a five-day stay before heading back to Bangkok.
While we were there, she arranged scooter rentals for us (then made sure we didn’t get ripped off when we got in a minor accident).
Overall, the rooms are simple and only act as a place to crash each night. Most of the rooms at The Green Leaf are typical hostel bunk rooms. However, there are single rooms available.
We stayed on the 3rd floor in a private room with a queen mattress and a large bathroom. (I loved that the bathroom was essentially a large shower room with the toilet u0026 sink in one corner. It made for easy cleanups after a day at the beach????)...

Truth is, if you're looking to stay somewhere inexpensive with a great host and simple accommodations, I would HIGHLY RECOMMEND staying at The Green Leaf!

Awesome guesthouse! I've spent 1 week in this guesthouse and really loved it! I've met a lot of people as the hostel is pretty open with tables outside, the staff is just amazing always smiling and ready to help anytime, the receptionist had some good discounts on the trips and really helped me for everything (renting a scooter, doing my laundry, arranging trips to the islands). I stayed in a 3-beds dorm, it was pretty clean and most importantly there was a very good aircon system (very important in Thailand). You can take either the bus for 20 bahts to go to the beach or a tuktuk. Also I forgot to say, they do some amazing food! Highly recommend it, especially for solo travellers and groups of friends!

Not reccomended. We booked trough Agoda, just to discover once we arrived that the place was fully booked. We spent the first of our 4 nights in the hotel nearby that the staff found for us. On day 2, we moved to Green Leaf. We had a Deluxe Room, that according to the description meant to have a balcony, but we had none. The A/C was without remote and was possible only to turn it on or off (good luck, the unit is placed very high and unless you're tall, can be a problem). In 3 days nobody cleaned our room, or changed the linen. Nobody fixed our door lock, that was noisy and one night we just couldn't come back in the room. Plus, nobody, even among many many promises, was able to provide us the "Sunset Tour" they offer, due to lack of people (in high season!). I won't come back.

I warn everyone!!! I do not reccommend this hotel!!! Hotel is located very far from the center (40 minutes walk). Every day for a few hours there was no water. After our intervention, the owner drove us to a place a few kilometers away to use the toilet and take a shower. When the water was availiable (few hours z day and at night) it was dirty (brown) and cold. We could only dream about hot/warm shower. Throughout our entire stay (6 nights), we never get a shower in warm water. Toilet and shower very dirty and moldy. In a 3-person room, only 1 electric input behind the bed. It was very difficult to get to the electric. The noise from the street at night was enormous. Beds were made of europallets. There are no covers on the pillows and duvets. I warn everyone. Do not booked accommodation in this hotel!

We, 8 friends, lived at Green Leaf Guesthouse Krabi for 2 nights had been charged for 800 baht because of we booked a 6 person family room instead of 8. Dear public, may I asked that why can't 8 tourists booked a 6 person family room with our comfortably and budget? And the owner took a picture of us saying impolitely that we didn't give out passport and pay on the first day when we check in. Come on, please ask yourself, owner, did you collect our passport and money on the first day? NO. Because you not even served us when we check in. ????

Very humble owners and a great value for the money. The guesthouse is right next to Makro (about 5 minutes away). You can also get fresh fruit right next to the hotel. They do offer motorbike rentals, so you can easily get around.

Great place to call home for your time in Ao Nang. Breakfast is delicious, tons of tours you can take, scooter rentals are very cheap and organized. Rooms have AC and are very comfortable. And most of all, the owners are so accommodating and friendly. Thank you for the wonderful experience. Kap kun kop ????
