Cube hostel krabi

I thoroughly enjoyed my stay here! I originally planned to stay one night but managed to stay another because the owner, Jane, is so wonderful! She is very maternal and cares for her guests. She made my short stay in Krabi very memorable by helping book a tour and even my trip out of Krabi. The beds are quite hard but I still had a good nights sleep. Jane really made up for the basic accommodations that you'd get at any hostel. I miss her already!

I wish I could give it 6 stars!!!

The owner Jane was probably the nicest person that I've met and I don't believe that there was any motive behind it besides to see how big that she could make us (my girlfriend and I) smile! We were planning to stay for 1 night and then to walk around and see if there was anywhere else that we'd like to stay in Krabi. After the first night we ended up booking the rest of our stay there. Jane would talk with us every night (in pretty fluent English) as we got back to the hostel about where we went and what we saw. She gave us things to do and see and places to eat based on what we told her we liked and wanted to do. The room was very clean and nice, the air conditioning worked wonderfully and we got free toast with jelly, instant coffee and bananas for breakfast in the mornings. The night before we left, Jane helped us schedule a taxi to the airport for the morning. In the morning the taxi was 10+ minutes late, so Jane had her husband (I'm assuming) get in his truck and take us to the airport instead to help us stay on time! We still paid the same taxi fee to him, but we were going to pay it either way and we got to the airport sooner because of it. I would absolutely book more nights at the Cube Hostel with Jane any time that I come back to visit Krabi!

Stayed there only one night.
Very nice lady, warm and welcoming smile! But other employees don't speak much
english.
Pros:
Big and clean room, bathrooms fine, A/C working good, good location.
Cons:
bed hard as rock, welcome to Thailand!
Breakfast could use an upgrade (only toast and jam, and even we had to wait 45min because no more bread.
All in all, good budget option, the lady gives good info.

Booked a room for two nights and after a long day of travelling all the way from Koh Tao was told that the room wasn't available even though I had booked 3-4 days beforehand. The owner then proceeded to book us a different hotel without any info or details and now we're stuck in a s**thole in the middle of nowhere, in a room completely different to what was booked. I should have said no after we were told the original room wasn't available but we just really needed a place to sleep. Avoid like the plague

Warm atmosphere. Lovely and generous owner who's happy to help you in your journey and who's giving you many tips to have a safe and cheap trip. Jane take care of her guest like we were her adopted child. For that price, you couldn't find a better place !!

This hostel it was just amazing, very clean, location it's just perfect where you can go everywhere walking literally. Staff was the best, super nice and also it was easy to meet people. Finally about rooms they are the best, you will have full curtains on your bed and your own plugger and light. Totally recommend it ;)

I dont always write this long but this really dissappoint me. Other than this everything's great.

Accomodation is great and clean and good location, should deserve 5 stars.

The bad thing is, we were dissappointed with the mangrove tour we bought from the hostel. We paid for 200baht/person where we should visit a cave, tour along mangrove area and visit a fisherman village. But the boatman just bring us to the cave and back to the dock. When we asked the other boatman around there about the tour they said it should be only 100baht/person. Means that we paid double the price and get less...

As we ask for the refund(half) the staff said no. Really dissapointed.
