We stayed here with a group about 30 people July 2022. Eric the executive manager pays great attention to detail and hospitality. The staff is attentive, the food is very good. The architecture carries tones of Northern Thailand and is on a sleepy river. The gardens are fabulous. Quiet location, very convenient to the town but not directly in the heart of the city. Highly recommend you visit here.

The hotel is relatively close to the city center, while being lost in the countryside by a river. The restaurant where we have breakfast is absolutely peaceful and beautiful. There are other restaurants, an italian one and a thai one.
The swimming pool with a view on the river is very nice but there are a lot of bugs in it. The same goes for the room. It's very spacious and looks like a mini house but many insects and lizards are inviting. But when you are looking for an accommodation in the middle of nature, it's normal. Just be careful, it's very noisy at night because of this !
On the other hand, the staff at the reception is friendly but just right.

The Legend was a fantastic hotel with top notch service. The rooms are spacious come with all the expected amenities. The beds are traditional Thai style (not very soft) and comfortable enough. The included breakfast was great. We had a few small issues on our first night and the manager was very friendly and made everything right. We wouldn't hesitate to stay here again on our next trip to Chiang Rai.

The hotel has beautiful gardens surrounding their property. It is nicely located along the river too, which makes it feel like you are surrounded by nature eventhough you are in the middle of a city. Staff was very friendly and kind. Initially the aircon did not work but staff was super attentive and helpful, and quickly changed us to another room. The rooms are spacious and the outdoorish shower is a great feature. Breakfast was delicious as well as the dinner u0026 wine selection in the italian restaurant.

Rooms : Spacious!
Breakfast : decent selection
Staff : friendly (excellent service)
Wifi : free (input room number for both blanks)
Note : Try not to open the balcony and windows unless you want mosquito feasting on you at night????
Must bring your own toothbrush as they do not provide.
They have a great river front for you to relax have a beer but most important!!! You must coat yourself with insects repellent or else half the time you are busy swiping them away????
Walkable to city center… about 20mins, nearby theres roadside stalls and coffee house.
A great place to be away from the city and to chill and be one with nature... (all the cricket, frog and such sounds) ????

A lovely hotel beside the river located a little way out if town. Lovely and helpful staff. Spacious rooms with extra big showers. Relaxing pool area. Good breakfast.

A nice older hotel on the River in Chiang Mai. Well-appointed older rooms. Nice amenities. Nice views. Excellent pool. Sumptuous Breakfast Buffet. Friendly staff.
