Now, it is not a good thing to publicly play with sarcasm and irony - but this case deserves an exception. Xanadu eludes a distinct yesterday flair, from furniture to guests, music and, hell yeah, the building. The band plays classics, barely recognizable, from the western 80s to Chinese Idon'tfromwhen, clearly addressing the discerning audience which is glued to their chairs in shock and awe. And they better be, coz the cocktails won't arrive for 30 minutes and everyone in their good conscience would be long gone if it wouldn't be for the band. The staff seems as polite as they seem helpless in serving the drinks in proper time frame, which probably isn't really their fault but a result of logistic misplanning at the cocktail bar. On the positive side are the views over Chiang Mai which are truly stunning! Oh, and before I forget it: don't come here for the cocktails. They were unforgivable. But I'm sure a beer will serve you just right.

A restaurant on the roof top of furama hotel. Good view up here. A good place to drink cocktail and whisky while enjoying Chiang Mai night life.

Great place to go on a date and eat, bit pricy but you pay for what you get. Amazing view and great service, lovely live band and if your there earlier enough there's a pool you can swim in. All in all lovely food and service on the roof top.

Lovely view and great food. Definitely worth a visit and maybe a romantic evening date.

Antique style. Not proper for new generation. Old song, old decorate. Only sceneric view is nice.

A romantic dining place good taste of food and cocktails. Price was a bit up scale.

The atmosphere and view were spectacular! And the waitstaff friendly and quick. However, the food was severely less than par with unexpectedly small servings and very poor seasoning. The flavors were bland compared to what one can buy on the streets for 1/4th the cost. Also, the live band was tough to listen to - we thought it was karaoke as we came upstairs because the singer was so out of tune. Over all, it was not an experience we would like to repeat.
