A guesthouse that has a nature-like rustic charm to it. Situated in a quiet and secluded street just opposite Maya Shopping Mall a few streets away.
If you wish to get away from the hectic, bustling commercial side of Chiang Mai, then this is the perfect place for you.
The garden outside the rooms is full of small narrow alleys full of plants and birds. The rooms are decorated with a 1970s feel with those wooden furniture and quaint antiques. The bed has a canopy and mosquito net. The flowery curtains adds to the warmth and rustic feeling of the room.
Each room have a small private bathroom. The floor is wooden laminated tiles. The room is air-conditioned and also equipped with a small fridge and dressing table.
Cons:
1. You have to ask for a three pin plug to charge your electrical devices.
2. As there many plants around the place, there can be harmless insects like mosquitoes, spiders and lizards.
3. The owner rear cats. If you are a cat lover, good for you.
4. The water pressure is too low in the bathroom. So your shower may take a longer time...
5. The room is generally clean but can be dusty at some areas.
6. Windows are mostly locked for security reasons except for the one near the common corridor. Do open to let some fresh air in.
7. No kettle is available.
Overall, this is a cosy and affordable guesthouse full of warmth and rustic charm. It makes you feel like you have travelled to the past or staying a simple village.
