Be honest, I parked the car here and walk to Cake shop. Don’t do that. I found that the temple attract my feeling by shady, Calm, not crowded. I noticed there are local people came here with peaceful mind ( Believe me , I feel that)

I found that this place was very old temple more than 400 years ago. I recommended that you should come and spend a bit time here. They also have the museum.

Highly recommended

This is a neat temple across the river Ping from the old city. There are several good places to eat near this temple. Good place to stop and rest.

Love this place, as it's so authentic Lannan, yet no so touristy as those, much bigger and impressive, temples in the city center.

Beautifully maintained 15th Century temple. In a small compound.

If you are born in the year of the dog ... this is your temple.

Enchanting spot if you want to hear monks chanting in the evenings.

Peaceful and calm. It is famous for the person who was born in the year of the dog in Thailand. Pay respect to the stupa. There are many gorgeous buildings to see.

Wat gategaram museum; If you want local history, this is it.

Wat gategaram museum is in the grounds of Wat Ket, and is also known as Wat Ket museum.

It is one of those disorganized museums, just stuffed with old memorabilia related to the area. There is probably the largest collection of historic photographs of the area here, together with old gramaphone records, cameras, animal skulls, clothes and furniture.

In fact, you name it and it's probably here. Much of it can be dismissed, but you sure can have fun viewing this place.

Highly recommended. And if you're in the vicinity, this area is one of the oldest areas of Chiang Mai and well worth exploring. It is across the Ping river (by pedestrian bridge) from Warorot Market.

One of Chiang Mai old temple. The temple architecture is in Thai Lanna style. The buddha statue in the temple is beautiful. There are many place in the temple for buddhist people to pray , light candles and incense. When you look around you will see lots of buddhist angel staute which Thai people believe that they guarded the temple. The temple only had some parking space which is always crowded on the buddhist holiday.
