Happened to pass here on our first night in Chiangmai and it was such a great place! The service was great and the food was really good. There was live music when we came which was very good and they sang English songs too. The place has a good parking space. Honestly, it is a great place for family meal or group gathering. Not a bar bar but a place with easy going music, good food and amazing drink selection. Their drink selection is pretty amazing with everything from international and local beers, heavy liquor, red wine,etc.

This place is so nice! We went there twice during our four day stay in Chiang Mai. It’s right next to the night market, it has a great view and it’s beautifully decorated with lights. Excellent service and drinks. We loved the live music!

Bar u0026 Thai Restaurant located along the Ping River. The atmosphere is very good, the food is delicious, reasonable price. There is a live music stage in the middle of the restaurant. Lots of seats, courteous staff, restrooms and on-site parking.

We were there at 5pm. I think during night time the atmosphere, lights and everything are much nicer and I think there's even a live band.
Anyways, the food was surprisingly good but I just don't like the dirty River and river view in chiang mai. Applies to all restaurants /bars by the river

Absinthe!!!!!!!!!!!! Here, things are done a little differently than they are elsewhere. You won't be able to find this drink anywhere else in Chiang Mai. Many questions I had about the restaurant's owner were answered by this drink. To be honest, this is my favorite place to eat in Chiang Mai, even if I had a bad experience here once when food was brought an hour late during a partial shop closure for Chiang Mai's governor. However, after that time, everything is well. Exquisite live music can be found here. The live singing band here is similar to a rising star singer on a reality TV show. If you go on the hottest day in April and there is no air conditioning, it might get brutally hot. But, in sum, this is the best restaurant in Chiang Mai I can say.

*COVID-19 MEASURE UPDATE*

We went to the shop on Friday 17th DEC night, we got asked by the staff if we’re vaccinated and if yes, need to show the document OR if no, we have to do the ATK test before entering the restaurant which is 100 bath per the test/person. We are not vaccinated and we denied to do the ATK cuz I was calling the shop before we leave but no one informed us about this new measure. They should have told us before so we don’t waste our time coming here.

Original review:
Original Thai restaurant with the REAL Thai taste. If you can’t eat any spicy food, you MUST ask for no chili at all in every dish. Most of the dishes are for sharing but they also have the single dishes in the menu also.

Good for the group of friends or family. Even nice for the couple if they can have the seat next to river.

If it’s weekend, the restaurant will be a bit busy and you’ll get your food a bit late so I suggest to go before 6pm and order quick to get your food faster. And don’t go here when you’re really hungry.

Very nice place next to Ping river, the food is tasty and it’s a pleasure having lunch or dinner with that view. At night the lights and decoration are making this place look fantastic
