A quiet and tranquil escape from the busy streets and allies of Old Town. It is close to many bars, restaurants and food carts. We extended our stay because we enjoyed this spot so much. The buffet breakfast was less than average but hardly dulled the otherwise flawless experience. Would recommend The Rim to anyone who wants to stay in Old Town, Chiangmai.

I loved staying here. Has an authentic feel coming from the west. I wanted to get away from the luxury and experience reality while in Thailand. Rim Resort gave me all these while being so comfortable and accommodated.

The resort itself was beautiful and well located on the edge of the Old city. Our room was fully equipped with whatever we needed. Smart TV's allowing us to access Netflix and YouTube.
We were on our honeymoon and they upgraded our room free of charge as it was available. Staff were so cute and were always so attentive and chef tailored our breakfast for us as we are vegetarian! Staff were great in providing directions and booking cabs and were also very easy to communicate in English with! Would deffo stay again!

We stayed in that wonderful and peaceful place for 5 nights and had a wonderful time here.
The location is very good, the rooms are clean, good equipped and our bed was suuuper good. I feel we could sleep there forever. :-) The service quality of the team was also very friendly, super helpful and just very much focused on the well-being of their hotel guests.
The breakfast was good, with fresh fruits, several cereal’s, bred, hot offerings and a wide selection of juices, teas, coffee variations.
The price was also reasonable and the receptionists were very helpful to organise tours for us.
The internet speed was also very good, we had 40 Mbps download and 80 Mbps upload as I used a speedtesting app on my wirelessly connected mobile phone close to the access point.

I am here for a quick late lunch for a Thai dish, Khao Soi. Very enjoyable dish for a rich and creamy soup over two types of noodles. Strongly recommended. Maybe a bit spicy for some people.

What a wonderful boutique hotel! The staff is exceptionally warm, welcoming, and helpful. They took time walking us through the hotel and all the city's attractions as we sipped tea during arrival. The hotel has an ideal location on the edge of old city, close walking to anything you'd want.
The unexpected bonus of this place is it's rustic charm with Burmese architectural influence. The rooms are open, quiet, and clean with large bathrooms complete with a shower and bath tub. The pool and courtyard food was delightful.
