Hideaway is a wonderful place for breakfast and great for lunch. Their food is excellent quality u0026 freshly made. I and my family have eaten here for years, enjoying their amazing breakfast varieties. (French toast is amazing u0026 their homemade bagels, yummy) For others that are saying prices are high, they must not have eaten at other local quality restaurants?! Their breakfast includes coffee or tea, toast or muffin, jam and butter, entire set included in the pricing. Plus the atmosphere and staff are truly amazing. Highly recommended visiting their place and enjoying their delicious food!

Another little gem found. Was in need of coffee and did a quick search this place came up as the closest so went for coffee. Like most places. Doesn't look the same inside as out. Lovely place appropriate name chosen by the owners. Staff were really pleasant. Plenty of choice on the menu although didn't order food today will be back to try. Quick coffee and cake was all that was needed today. Those that did have food looked really nice and for the portion size. Worth a visit.

The food was quite fast and the waitress was very nice.
The food was absolutely delicious. I got the French Toast Set (sausage, bacon, eggs, and French toast). Cost 170 baht.
I've only tried their breakfasts but this place was great. Definitely give it a try.

Lovely cafe with nice garden seats. Menu is huge with lots of options - anything from 150 baht to 300 baht for breakfast. Our food was tasty and the portion size generous.

The Hideaway Restaurant is truly an Oasis in the south side of Chiang Mai. The food is absolutely wonderful. The breakfast choices are amazing, which includes coffee or tea, toast or English muffin. They give liberty to ask outside the set menu many times. The owner is extremely kind and hospitable, full of smiles and laughter. For anyone to say the prices are high or outrageous has not done their homework in the food quality and inclusion of your drink and extra choices in comparison to any other restaurant. I highly recommend The Hideaway restaurant is a place my family and I have eaten at for years and give it our full recommendation!

This place was ok. I will not go back. Coffee was not good. And it is pricey. I don’t mind spending money, if the food is good. My Belgium waffles were good, however, I was disappointed that the fruit that came on top was not fresh in fact it was awful; maybe frozen and defrosted. My friend had the American breakfast and she said hers was good. She also agreed the coffee was not good; she had regular and I had a latte.

As a side note, the bacon was decent (not very flavor able) but, they crisped it like I like it. The waitress was pleasant and knew enough English. I try not to give low stars, but I believe in being honest for others to consider.
