A lovely guesthouse with very friendly owners - they made me feel very welcome and at home. My room was OK - no air con but a fan instead. Furniture was a little dated but it pretty much had everything I needed. Lovely courtyard to sit in and a very central location in the old city. A great budget stay.

Was suppose to stay here for 4 nights, but left after the first night. The room was not clean (toilet was dirty, sink had toothpaste marks and mirrors were smudgy). Being on the road the dirtiness didn’t bother us too much, but the bed is what made us leave. It felt like we were sleeping on a cot. It was very uncomfortable and we felt the metal springs. This place was cheap, but not cheap enough for the standards that they held.

Not sure who is the manager, but I like all the working people there, especially the middle aged woman and the french guy (if that's where he's from).

This place is a great budget alternative. Don't come here and expect it to be like hilton. This is a quite basic place, and for the price of a room you can't ask for much more.
I have stayed here over 6 times during the years and never had a problem. And I will be back again for sure.

Had a nice enough stay at the CMWH. Our room was very comfortable and the host, BP, was frequently around to greet us with a smile. He has a good system of logging the beverages you take so you can get stuff whenever you want as well. All in all, he has a very nice property and I would recommend a stay here if you are in Chiang Mai.

Best guesthouse in Chiang Mai. This year even better. Delicious breakfast, best muesli yogurt with fruit in Thailand. You will be kindly attended. In the middle of the historical city but in a calm street. You will not regret go there.

Old furniture, smells in the room. But interesting internal space, a lot of greens. Another problem is the nosy from next building, every night there was a party English speaking people, big noise of drunk company. Not recommended, we were standing three nights.

Great location and great price. Away from all the road traffic. Very clean and has hot shower. Wifi didn't reach my room but worked great down stairs
